These ties keep cords, cables, hoses, etc. well secured and orderly---which is why I bought them. Any zip ties will do that, more or less, but these, which can be loosened and removed and then replaced fairly easily when additions, removals, or rearrangements are necessary, are just what a person needs.They also can be trimmed to size, the only requirement being that enough of a "tail" must be left for handling. Permanent zip ties don't need a tail, but the amount left doesn't have to be all that much, and the ties can be placed so that the tails are out of sight.Velcro strips might have the advantage of better appearance up close, but they are substantially more expensive. If you're looking at a Victorian drawing room, get the Velcro; otherwise, don't worry about it and use these ties.One final note. Because this came in a flat box loose, and I'm not good at guessing numbers of items like this, I decided to count them and did so, one by one. Guess what? They didn't send 200, which they said they would do, they sent 201. Good for them.

I’d like these because they will save me money. They’re good quality. You could use them for all kinds of things and reuse them. They’re durable and come in a bunch of sizes. And my electrician loves them. I gave him some because he was using and cutting the regular zip ties

After using a few of these reusable straps I got at work, I decided I should invest in these instead of the other one use straps.I still use the one use, but these reusable are good for garden hose keeping for the winter.These reusable ties have lots of uses:Securing cords and quick fixes.Fixing the ends of ratchet straps.Stowing ratchet straps.Holding extension cord ends together.

Use a lot of Zip ties and hated having to cut them off. These are great. Can use them over and over and they come in different sizes and there are pkgs. of black and white. Great product and good prices.
