We have researched multiple devices for lockdown safety for our preschool. Many of the items were too clunky, time consuming in an emergency, expensive, or just didn't work with our door frames. This simple item allows teachers to quickly ensure a locked door (our door are locked by keys) as part of the lockdown drill protocol. Makes our teaching staff and parents feel much safer. Highly recommend.

I’m a substitute, and so the doors are often opened but not unlocked this has been great to allow me to shut the door without having it locked. They came a little concave so I had to flatten them before the would stay in place. I also wish the magnet was just a little stronger. However it does it’s job effectively.

Very easy to sling onto the door and adds a high level of safety to the rooms.

I use this at the school office and other doors that need to remain locked. Heavy duty magnetic strip that stays in place.

These did not work well as the door latch catches the magnetic strip and pushes it in causing it to wrinkle. Perhaps if the magnet was stronger or thinner it might be better.

There was 10 in the pack and 4 of them were melted at the top. The box was not damaged and the items were wrapped in plastic.

Perfect for my classroom door. Other magnets would fall. These are sturdy and strong. I didn’t need 10 of them, though, so I gave the extras to other teachers who appreciated it very much.

Good for doors without large locks, not strong enough for some doors
