It works.
It fitted my lenovo thinkpad as promised by the advert and gives several hours battery life. My old battery was completely dead so I'm delighted it fits and works. Thanks :-)

Rubbish
Rubbish. The battery wouldn't take on any charge - I returned the item.

Promising... So far... For the money. But see update...
Box had been opened and resealed, the enclosed instruction leaflet explicitly states:"Do not discharge the battery pack to 0% as that will damage the battery pack and shorten its life."The battery arrived completely discharged...However... I fully charged the battery and then gave it a heavy test:. Playing a DVD via the optical drive on maximum brightness and volume. The battery lasted almost 2 hours. I then recharge the battery fully and did some word processing and very light usage with 50% brightness. The battery lasted almost 4 1/2 hours. If it stays like this then I'll be very happy having paid only £17 for it. I will give it 4 stars and keep monitoring its performance. Will update review if required but so far a cautious recommendation.Update: returned as laptop no longer recognises it as legitimate battery and refuses to charge it. No longer holds its charge. Got a refund from Amazon, so will buy another and keep doing so. The worst that can happen is I get a perpetual free battery that actually works pretty well WHEN it works.

Old battery bad capacity
Actual capacity much lower than rated, and manufactured 2 years ago and delivered on 0%, lithium batteries must be stored at around 70% if it is going to be useful.Fits OK in the laptop, not flush like the genuine article.Will be returning

Had to be returned as it would not be recognised or hold a charge
Price was good, delivery prompt but it bad to be returned as it would not take or hold a charge, the laptop wouldn't even recognise a battery was installed so can only assume a bad unit, but that was my experience.

Batterie pour LENOVO T420
Batterie installée en MAI 2021 sur mon portable, aujourd'hui elle ne tient plus qu'une petite heure.En précisant que j'ai un disque SSD, donc faible consommation d'énergie.Durée de vie 18mois, un peu juste malgré le prix bas de la batterie.
