The 6" / 150mm hardened stainless steel digital caliper from Hobby Tool Supply is designed to take outside, inside, and depth measurements with accuracy up to .001 inches. A locking screw can be used to take measurements even when the LCD screen is obscured or difficult to read. Use the "zero" button to recalibrate the caliper anywhere on the slide. Requires 1 AG13 battery but includes two to keep your caliper functioning for a long time without replacement. If the battery dies, measurements can be taken visually using markings on the slider.

This arrived with a battery in place that was corroded, and the electronic part didn't work. I gave it 3 stars because no matter wether the electronic measurement worked, it still had the markings on it and I accomplished what I needed to.
