Good quality for price
These were bought for my PENTAX camera lenses and although I did make a slight mistake in not noticing that the front lens on my SIGMA 70-300mm zoom rotates thereby making the petal hood not suitable, which was a disappointment, but this is not a fault, but could and did use rubber collapsible hood so it is a good set . The other SIGMA lens 18-200mm doesn't rotate front lens and I used a different diameter set for that lens both are near identical to original manufacturers hoods but much cheaper as there is a whole set of two with cleaning cloth WHAT a bargain .

Functional
I got these to replace an old hood that had split. They are the correct fit and the materials are OK but not great. I have used one on an Olympus m.zuiko 40-150mm and there is no noticeable vignetting. There might be a problem if fitted to a wide angle lens as the hood and fitting ring are not concentric, which was obvious as soon as I opened the box it is that bad! That said, it does the job and will probably last a while so I am happy for the price especially as there are 2 supplied. Incidentally they are both wonky so it looks like poor manufacturing.

Great purchase to add to kit bag
Firstly, this is not a professional grade item. It costs £8 for two and a generic cloth. Reviews on this item have been very harsh. Was skeptical after reading reviews but as stated above, they’re not canon or Nikon grade. They’re budget items to keep in the kit bag to use if needed. They’re not designed for wide angle lens’ at all, yes when collapsed and there’s a certain way to make them work with wide angle lens but do not buy these. Most photographers with common sense would look for ones designed for wide angle lens’.The fit was spot on, on both hoods, they were packaged in their own individual boxes along with the cloth in a bag, wasn’t squashed, but these would easily form to how they’re supposed to be.Wide angle lens at 18mm showed a fair bit of vignetting however there is a way to fold these to offer some protection from the sun and light but you really should be buying one specifically designed for wide angle lens, any photographer would do!At about 28-35mm they’re useable with no vignetting depending if full frame or crop and what type of lens you have for crop sensor. The hoods fit nicely onto filters, the lens caps you have will fit into the centre as normal, and also the hoods can be directly attached to lens and a filter screwed into the hood along with a lens cap.Overall im happy spending £8 on these as something to throw around on my lens’I’d buy these again and have no issue recommending to anyone whom wants a cheap alternative to the £50+ pro grade versions.

The hood can only be collapsed so many times
These are great.I have used the 67mm variant on a P900, can shade the lense at telephoto, and be collapsed as needed for shorter focal lengths. It's also light enough to have no observable affect on the zoom function.Attaches by screw thread to the filter thread, though the P900 has only a little thread, it does retain. The biggest weak point is where the folds are. They tend to split on a fold point.I have had several of these hoods over the last 7 years, but if they last the year, they are at the right price point, they can be disposed of. Though if they lasted a lot longer, I wouldn't complain. If it is windy, it can cause increased lense movement, especially on a tripod and recording video.

Good idea, easy to put on, value for money
I found this worked well except when using wide angle lens; other than that which was to be expected ; it is light (every gram counts on flights these days); does the job and was value for money.

Does the job - quality good - thread clean.. I like these
I'm trying to keep my kit as compact as possible - Micro 4/3 etc .... this helps - screws on fine.. can still use the original lens cap .. works well.. great price .. can't see any problem .. 2 at this price.. no brainer.

It Works Great!
I use this Lens Hood to shield my 67mm Variable ND Filter from rain, more than anything else on my Neewer S24 Ultra Camera Rig Case.Be warned through, you lose the 0.6x "Ultra Wide" Screen if you use Stabilization on your Samsung. It ends up appearing as a black fringing. I use the 1.0x Lens and, so far, it seems to work fine as I haven't seen the Lens Hood enter the Frame. All in all, a good deal for 2 Lens Hoods!

A única queixa deste artigo é o cheiro a borracha sintética. Sente-se bastante esse cheiro e fica no saco.
