Awesome little Solid State power transformer. Worth the 11.99!
So far so good. Took 12v DC batter and hooked it up, output side was 5.18v DC. Input voltage as low as 10v DC still puts out 5.18v DC.Haven’t tested 24v DC yet but I’m sure it’s the same. So far is great, small and love the screw terminals. Perfect for supplying power to a small fuse block to distribute power to dash cam, gps, and cell charger.I personally will be using this to power an Arduino micro, that is communicating to a viper alarm, when there is detected tilt, the Arduino will send me a text via Cell phone shield, as well as enable strobe lights to flash and blow the air horn at intervals. This powers up the Arduino, and the relay shield. Perfect size as it’s not much bigger then a 40mm fan!

4 years in years in service and still working.
It’s a very reliable device. Mine as been running 4 years straight.

If only I found this before!
I was attempting to create a 5V system for my motorcycle to run a few external electronics. Initially I used 4 step-down buck converters.. this was a pain to wire in, nor did it provide the high current that I needed. Max 8A.The module that I bought (12V->5V Max 15A) obviously can handle a lot more. I haven't maxed it out, but I intend to get close! It is smaller than the power supply I built, water resistant, simple, and cost effective! Everything I look for in a product. I've had it plugged in for about a month now, with no load and it still outputs the same voltage. Will update if anything goes wrong when the project is finished. So far so good though! Happy customer.

low voltage
voltage is way under 5v, tried connecting several electronic control boards and they all generate under voltage errors. Also, it really struggles maintaining the current it says it can provide as adding a few more to the chain continues to keep dropping the voltage.

This thing can take a beating
I've dropped this part, had it accidentally touch pos to neg and it still works with no fluctuation.

Surviving in harsh conditions
Have had one of these sealed up in a weatherproof box, distributing power to several other devices/enclosures on a pole-mounted backboard, outside. It sends power, among other things, to weather sensing gear, ADSB stuff, allsky camera enclosure, and so on.It's hot in the summer, cold in the winter, completely unventilated, and completely ignored outdoors 24/7/365.And...it just keeps putting out consistent 5V DC.

Decent DC-DC converter
On the good side, this converter outputs 5VDC under no-load condition, but the voltage drops off as the load increases. My unit is about 90% efficient, so the rating is pretty good. It would be nice to have a trim pot to adjust the voltage to the desired value, while under load. Excellent packaging, and it runs pretty cool.

Good unit
Works as expected. Been running one for 60 days straight with no issues.
