Fuel Filter with Pressure Regulator & Fuel Level Sending Unit Replacement for BMW 2006-2012 16117163295

Came on time, I installed it after I had purchased another unit from a different seller and it wasn't giving the correct gas gauge reading. After installing this one it was reading correctly and it gave me no issues at all. Be sure to check if it matches your vehicle beforehand!

I have an option of placing a picture with this review. Just picture my car parked in my driveway for 6 months. Include me working on it till 2 am sometime trying to figure out why it would crank but not start. It all started when I replaced my fuel pump regulator at the end of July- beginning of August. It also controls the gas gauge on the dash. My gas gauge didn't work after installing it so they replaced it with a new one. It worked fine. five weeks later I was at a stop sign and my car dies. I worked on it for 6 months. I tested the electrical wiring, fuses, relay switched, several solenoids, the fuel pump and fuel pump module, battery, and on and on and on. There are dozens of parts that could have failed and yards of wiring to check. After checking everything at least twice, ( somethings three and four times) I opened up the gas tank and pulled out my new fuel pump regulator and it came apart in my hands. When I first installed it, my car ran fine. I thought it had to be something else causing the issue with my car. I was wrong. Both fuel pump regulators failed on me.

I finally had the filter installed in my BMW 328i. The fit was ok, but the attachment for the fuel line was different from the original, and more difficult to attach. The filter is operating, but not sure of the quality. Time will tell.

Fast shipping got it the next day, installation was easy if you know what you are doing, great product, will update this review after so time has gone by.I have had the pump on the car for a year now no problems at all work great great product would recommend to anybody.

The fuel line clip was faulty, fuel line clip keep pulling out when fuel pressure is built spraying fuel around

The main feed for the return line at the t-joint just popped off. I first tried to zip tie it. I ultimately had to remove the o-ring inside to make a more solid connection to be able to move the car (no fuel, no start) This will have to be replaced as this connection will now leak out of the pressurized system into the tank. The original Siemens regulator lasted 15 years this one six-months.

Spent a couple hours installing it just for it to cause low fuel pressure when running and super long cranks after sitting for a while. The fuel return valve is stuck open.
