. Sent a message to the manufacture. I did not want to write a negative review. They never responded. The product is terrible. The the gel balls do not even fill up two of the pockets. They stay cold for maybe four minutes.I never write negative reviews, but the picture is very deceptive. I thought that the product I recieved was defective, After reading further reviews I realized that it is a problem with the amount of gel balls that are in the individual packets.Do not bother with this product. Not worth the money.

This gel pack is exactly what I needed this week from having Cervical Disk Removal and Fusion surgery. I've only used it as a cold pack, have yet to try it as a warm pack.The weight of it is ideal as it lays nicely across my lower neck and shoulders without securing it with the hook and loop fasteners, it is very flexible and is easy to manipulate into the areas required. While I'm up and moving around these first few days I make sure the bandage is in place if I need to wear the gel pack. I use a washcloth to wrap around it when it's in use.One nice feature is the extra elastic band included that allows one to wrap it around your body. It's well made and cools down in a hurry in the freezer, I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought this after episode of calcific tendonitis with encapsulitis of the right shoulder as ordinary ice packs were not covering the entire shoulder and upper arm - both of which were painful !This ice pack covers the painful area well & is very useful after you do the physical therapy exercise for frozen shoulder .Ordinary ice packs were not doing the job &you needed multiple applications to each of the affected areas to get pain relief .This applicator takes only 10 Minutes and all of the affected areas are covered and relieved at once .It freezes nicely and does not take up too much room in the freezer .

I bought this pack, so hopeful. It was exactly what I was looking for. BUT it is a warm/cool pack. Not hot/cold. It looses temperature very fast. Does not retain much.

I have mixed feelings about this product. it says neck and shoulder. but its mainly for the neck. I try to keep it on my shoulder with both of the provided straps and it keeps falling off. I can't move at all, i have to stay in a statuesque position in order for this thing to stay in place. does it do the job? yeah, but you cant even scratch your nose without it falling off of your shoulder. Knowing what I know now, I would not get this product as i mainly wanted it for my shoulder.

Fairly worthless for me. Not nearly enough 'beads' in each section. I wanted to use it for my foot and the Velcro fasteners were unusable for a smaller area. Guess I should have researched more thoroughly. Or maybe it is just for neck. Regarless, I am disappointed.

I've owned 4 of these, for my neck, and they really help. Someone I recommended them to hated the large band, but it doesn't bother me given how much it relieves my pain. Several other neck relievers were too warm or too unwieldy. Eventually, the seams leaked in one, but since it is about the price I would pay for some dinner or a bottle of wine for some dinner, I don't mind.Update: They're all horrible now. Few gel beads, just horrible! The only use for my last one is to hold a gel pack I bought a long time ago, still going strong, because of its strap (for the neck) and the tiniest bit of cold behind the pack.Do not buy.
