Beat blender I’ve ever owned - and I’ve owned many (smoothie addiction)
This thing is amazing. I wanted a glass blender to avoid plastic, and I wanted it to be strong and durable. The solid glass and built in blade (no plastic in sight) is incredible and far quieter and more powerful than my previous blender. Self clean is a game changer. Since it heats (makes amazing soup too) cleaning is easier than ever before. I make smoothies daily, great texture and can blend just about anything. Highly satisfied and recommend to anyone wanting a quality, easy to clean, great for smoothies (and soup) blender

Foodi Heat-iQ Blender - Awesome!
Powerful blender and great quality for the money. I make soups consistently, have infused mint tea and sauteed many of things and even made my smoothies. There's so much versatility to this appliance it's amazing. Only downside is the heavy glass container but then again it has a wonderful heating element that makes wonderful and tasty soups...worth the little inconvenience.

Great for soups and liquids.
I would like to give this item 5 stars for some functions and 2 stars for others.Pros: I am in soup heaven. Never has it been so easy to have an endless variety of soup. Recipes are in the little booklet that comes with the blender, but there are also useful charts for smooth or hearty soups, so you can be creative. Take 5 or 10 minutes to prep the ingredients, 5 minutes to sauté onions and spices, add the rest of the ingredients, and go about your business. 30 minutes later you will have piping hot soup. (Be careful removing the lid! Very hot steam will come out.) Additionally, the blender is plenty powerful enough to blend frozen ingredients for smoothies, etc. Next, the infuse settings for cocktails and mixers are fun to play with. Finally, the cleaning function is nice. Depending on what I blended in it, I may give the blender a quick rinse before cleaning, or I may hand wash it some first.Cons: The cookbook includes recipes for hummus and pesto, but I will never again use it for anything like that. I will use my food processor for any food I can’t pour or ladle. The blades throw thick ingredients to the sides of the blender almost immediately and no more blending takes place until you remove the lid and reach down and scrape things to the middle again. Then you have to do that all over again a few seconds later. Finally when you think the food is blended, or you just get too tired to go on, you are faced with getting it out of the blender. The hummus/pesto will be on the bottom of the thing, partially under the blades. Good luck. Fortunately, I already had a long blender spatula, or I probably would have ended up rinsing a lot of pesto down the sink. The tool that comes with the blender is worthless for thick food items that stay near the bottom of the blender, although I have used it to stir beans into my lovely minestrone. The only other negative about this item is its weight. The heating element stays on the blender and the thing is heavy. I think many people, especially perhaps older women (I am one of those people, but I work out with weights, and now I consider lifting the blender to be part of my workout!) may not want to deal with something this heavy.Overall, the blender works great for liquids but poorly for thicker foods. I am glad I bought it, and I use it almost daily.
