Good mag holder
I was a bit surprised at the depth of this pouch as it is a single stack mag holder. I thought at first they accidentally sent me a double as this is about big enough looking at it from the outside. But it is just the mechanism inside that takes up so much space.I must say that it works well though and the design allows it to hold a variety of mags securely. I have tried 1911 mags, a Kahr PM9 mag and even a Ruger LCP mag and all were held in place securely. I have been carrying a PM9 mag in it for several weeks now and I am very happy with the pouch. The 1911 mag is a perfect fit. The Kahr mag fits well but I am using a 7 round extended mag so that I have some more to grab onto as the flush fit sinks all the way into the pouch. Although it will securely hold a LCP mag if I was going to carry one around I would probably look for something smaller as when inserted the mag goes all the way into the pouch and it doesn't stick out at all so there is nothing grab the mag by. Basically if you needed it quick you may have a hard time getting the mag out.It gets 5 stars from me because of its flexibility and it appears to be a very high quality product that should last me a long time.

Quality and functionality
It is not very comfortable when sitting. Not very good for concealed carry either. The retention is surprisingly good though. A loaded 8-round .45acp mag with 230 grain rounds will stay in it even when shaken vigorously a few times. Great for range time or for everyday use if you don't care too much about concealed carry which for me isn't a huge concern. Will attach to or remove from a belt already being worn which is awesome and virtually no chance of this mag case coming off the belt accidentally d ue to how it's designed.

The quality is very good, just as the seller described, easy to use.

Works as advertised, will hold a mag in very securely but...
It is extremely difficult to get this thing on and off as others have said. But it does do what it says its supposed to do, which is hold a spare mag so it won't accidentally fall out. Too soon to comment on durability (although it does seem solid), and the only safety feature (the clip holding it to your belt/pant ) is extremely hard to get on and off, I think I will have to give this a 3 overall. It works, it is definitely better than nothing, and its easily concealable. Unfortunately unless it slightly loosens up it just becomes more of a hassle and I don't want to ever question whether I should take spare mags on my person just because the device is hard to attach/detach.

Secure fit for 1911 mags, and won't come off your belt unless you deliberately remove it.
Picked up a couple of these for carrying spare mags for my 1911. They are great! Great retention of the mags, even upside down and sh king them, and I'm running 8-round Kimber Tac-Pro mags, which are a little heavier than the regular mil spec. The belt clips are super secure once they are on your belt. They aren't coming off unless you take them off deliberately, and even that can be a challenge. That's probably the only possible drawback to these; if you want the off in a hurry, you're better off just taking off your belt. The clips are also removable, so you can mount the mag holders on the Blackhawk CQC drop-leg holster platform. All together, I highly recommend these mag holders, and would buy again.

Wrong size for weapon
Despite receiving it it is worthless to me it does not pull through my weapon it's too small for a 9 mm Ruger

OK Fit But Bulky
I bought this to carry an extra mag for my LC9. The tensioning mechanism holdsthe mag securely in place so from that standpoint the product performs well. However, it is very deep and sticks out about 1" so unless you are wearing something loose it imprints a lot.
