Ultra Swim Chlorine Removal & Hard Water Treatment Moisturizing Shampoo, 7 Ounce

I swim daily in the summer and it's critical to get the chlorine out my hair afterwards. I am not a blond so chlorine does not turn my hair green, but it does leave it feeling coarse unless washed out with a good product. Ordinary shampoos don't do the job nearly as effectively as those designed specifically for removing chlorine. I've tried several brands touted for this, and found Ultra Swim Chlorine Removal & Hard Water Treatment Moisturizing Shampoo does it the best. It lathers up well and not only does it get out the chlorine but also leaves my hair smelling great, and it doesn't seem to cause my color-treated hair to fade more quickly with daily use. Some of the other such products do not lather as much and are not scented as pleasantly. If you are a frequent swimmer, I highly recommend this product.

This is our third bottle of this shampoo. Our daughter is super blonde and gets green hair every summer. Once her hair is green, I use this shampoo for the first time three times. I will do three washes of it. Then maintain a couple times a week with it. Smells nice too. I recently saw my neighbor who is white bleach blonde as well carrying a bottle of it at the pool lol. So it must be popular.

So I purchased this for my daughters shower.. I use the Malibu swim shampoo and that’s what they had been using but wanted to try this one out bc it was such a better price and had good reviews. It definitely works and removes the chlorine smell, feel and the build up. Their hair looks and feels so clean after use, the only negative thing I have to say about it is the smell. Luckily the smell doesn’t linger in your hair (although we wash with a regular shampoo after we use this and before we do conditioner so maybe it does it you don’t do that)

Excellent shampoo. I would consider using it beyond after the pool! Some people stated they didn't like the smell but I think it smells great. Leaves my hair soft and manageable.I am in the pool for exercise for 45-60 minutes at a time. I am fair and have blonde highlights. A good tip is to always wet your hair well in the shower before entering the pool so it cannot absorb much pool water. As a further precaution, I also spay my hair with It's a Ten conditioner and use a cloth bathing cap.

This product is a must buy for swimmers. This shampoo gets rid of chlorine smells super effectively and is easy on the hair and doesn't cause damage. My daughter swims everyday, and for a really long time she always smelled of chlorine and it was super overwhelming. When we started using this shampoo, the problem was fixed. She has less knots when brushing her hair and she doesn't smell like a pool anymore. I highly recommend this product!

Product works well, however the scent is way, way too strong. I have used this for decades but recently no longer use scented products. It's difficult to find a shampoo that gets the chlorine out that is low scented without paying a hefty price, thus the reason I again bought this one.Ultra Swim would do well to update their products to meet the needs of all customers, especially those that need unscented/low scented products for health reasons. I won't buy another unless this happens.
