A uniquely designed and crafted French press with fine Stainless Steel Band holds your glass beaker in place firmly while pouring and moving. How Does a French Press Work? Commonly known as a 'French Press', this style of manual coffee making is perhaps the best way to make rich, full-flavored coffee. Features The BARISTA French Press offers a dual filter system, with the main press being one, and another one in the lid as well. That will retain heat and allow for better flavor for your coffee or tea. The BARISTA French press coffee and tea maker is truly a great French press, backed by Great Customer Service! Not a Very Good Product, the steel filter is not completely fitting ...
Not a Very Good Product, the steel filter is not completely fitting the glass jar, the coffee bean particles are getting slipped from these gaps, i have to do the filtering twice and by that time my coffee is becoming cold and i have to microwave it for 15 sec's. Thought of returning it however i was adjusted to it. So if you see any gaps between the filter and glass jar sides then ask the vendor for other piece. When it comes to brewing this works well, if you use your own coffee powder then powder it as coarse but not as fine powder, your brewing time depends on the hotness of the water, be aware that adding too hot water will not make the coffee tastier, and there is a risk of breaking the glass jar.

Tolerances could be better, but you get what you pay for
Pros: Perfect size for one cup at the office. Easy to clean.Cons: The plunger regularly falls on its own while brewing. I need to remember to angle the plunger a lot during brew or i am constantly pulling it up, agitating the coffee, neither of which are really things I want to remember before having my first cup of coffee.UPDATE: Purchased just shy a year ago, the metal fastener that keeps the mesh filter/plunger assembly together came loose! While I could solder/weld/epoxy this together I would need to find something food safe for the cause. Trying to think of other solutions but at barely a year of light (office) use, this is disappointing! Not for heavy use and not for long term use (then again at $8, what is?)

Good Coffee
This is a replacement for the single serve French press that was "donated" for a worthy cause. It makes excellent coffee, but I rated it four stars because the glass container comes in direct contact with a tile countertop, and I'm afraid it will shatter when hot water comes in contact with it. I realize it's a choice I made, but I needed an inexpensive replacement until my original one shows up. I have to remember to place it on a cork trivet, which isn't always handy.

It was good while it lasted.
This french press is good for small servings. It was just right for me before I bought a larger thermos. My one gripe with it is that there are no supporting feet. The hot glass would come in direct contact with the table surface when brewing. I ended up knocking it over the counter on accident and broke it. It was good while it lasted though.

Simple and inexpensive. It just works.
For the price it is does exactly what it's supposed to do. You put coffee grounds in the bottom, add water, and plunge. The coffee is great and the you can enjoy about 4 mugs of coffee with each batch. The handle is strong and the glass is easy to clean. The plunger is a bit flimsy, but it works just fine. I wish there was some plastic to cushion the bottom. I can see this thing breaking from being placed too hard on the granite countertop, but for the price I'll just buy another one. It is really great and very simple by design.

but so far I love it! It's so nice to be able to ...
I've only had this coffee press for about a week, but so far I love it! It's so nice to be able to make one cup of coffee at a time. I also think it tastes a little better than through a normal coffee maker, but that's possibly just my impression because I like the product so much. The only thing I didn't expect is that you should use coarse ground coffee. But I haven't seen any coffee grounds in my finished coffee, just seems a little thicker than being put through a paper filter.

New experience for me.
Been brewing teas in my press.I find some pieces will get past the screen if you re-brew multiple times as most do with teas. You get a better flavor brewing bulk teas over using a tea bag, the tea is allowed to expand and better release its flavor.I will leave the old tea in press and add a tad more of 1 or more items into the mix and brew each day for up to a week then toss out.Been ordering my teas direct from China and pay about 1/2 of what local tea shops charge, but the wait is rather long.
