How compatable is this bladder with the ilbe gen ii or is there a large bladder, (100 oz/3.0l) that would be better suited

This 'Camelbak 100 oz Mil-Spec Antidote Accessory Water Bladder' will not fit in a USMC ILBE Hydration Carrier (NSN # 8465-01-531-1753)The USMC ILBE Hydration pouch/carrier is made to fit a 'Source Tactical WXP Hydration' bladder. 'Source' was the USMCs supplier for the ILBE Gen I and II hydration carrier and bladder. If you have one already you'll see on the carrier's patch where it says "Source Vagabond Systems LTD Made in USA". All that said, I do believe the 'Camelbak 100 oz/3.0L MIL SPEC Antidote Accessory Reservoir Long 90857' (emphasis "Long") was made by Camelback to fit the ILBE carrier also. Have a look at either of those bladders and you'll see they are a much narrower & longer shaped bladder than this one. FWIW, this 'Camelbak 100 oz Mil-Spec Antidote' bladder is what the USMC currently uses in the hydration carrier for their newer FILBE packs (NSN # 8465-01-600-7962). ;)

What is the difference between this Mil-Spec model and the "civilian" antidote?

The Mil-Spec models have an insulated hose, quick connect fittings, and a better bite valve. I believe both civilian and mil-spec have partitioned bags. I don't know if the material the bladders are made from differ in thickness from civilian to Mil-Spec. I have two Mule hydration systems with 100oz long configured bags. They have been to hell and back with no problems. Did have an O-ring leak on a hose but Camelbak quickly replaced the hose. I also use the short 100oz Mil-Spec bladder in my Osprey55 back pack. Same tough design but shorter allowing for better internal storage of gear without compressing the bladder. Since the Mil-Spec bladders are configured with better hoses, fittings, and bite valves, I would use that option. Hope that helps.

will this fit into a 5.11 rush 24 backpack?

This fits the rush 24 bag just right. I have the rush 72 and the rush 24. I had originally put the Mil Spec Antidote Reservoir 100 oz Long for both bags and found that it was too long for the rush 24. I then got the Mil Spec Antidote Reservoir 100 oz Short and it fit just right.

Will this fit in a Badlands Super Day Pack?

I'm not familiar with "Badlands Super Day Pack" so I watched a quick vid on YouTube. The vid did say it expected hydration bladders in the mesh section of the main compartment. If you have that bag I would look there to see if there is some sort of a hanger system to attach & hold up the bladder. As far as size? Will it fit? I don't know. But I'm pretty dang sure it will!
