Does it's job, I'm glad I didn't bay the name-brand replacement for my old MacBook.

At first I thought it killed my old 2006 MacBook. It went black shortly after inserting the battery. Then after playing with the MacBook insides and getting the battery fit in a little better, the MacBook has worked like a charm. This is not a powerful old laptop, but for word processing when other computers are being used in the house, it's useful to have up and running. This battery so far has lasted a long time and keeps its charge a very long time when unused as well.

The battery works and is in good condition. The only thing I am surprised by is that the battery went from 99% to 56% over a 3 day period while my Mac was sleeping. I haven't had a battery for my laptop for a long time, so this may be the norm. Nevertheless, I am overdue for a new laptop. I'm just glad I was able to find a battery for an Apple product that is no longer supported.

Perfect fit for my 2008 white MacBook...yes it still works and it does what I need it to do for my music and design work but an upgrade is in the works.

Not the highest quality battery but is functional it does get warn pretty fast.

I purchased this battery for a friend who asked me if I knew where to buy a replacement.The Mac Book battery arrived early afternoon yesterday. Ten minutes later the battery was in the machine and being rapidly charged. I brought the machine up to date and returned it to 1 happy camper.I have no complaints with the battery. It got busy as soon as it was charged.Hopefully the Battery life will be reasonably satisfactory.

2020: I like this battery so far, although sometimes wondering if the charge is dropping percentage quicker than it should. Just really want it to last a fairly long-enough life. It was absolutely easy to install and an accurate fit!Update 2021: There were some defects with the battery’s longevity; however, the company was very helpful with resolving the issue and sending a replacement. So far the replacement seems to be doing good! Just hope it lasts!
