A bucket is never going to be perfect seat, it's hardly even a good seat in the best of conditions, but this top is reasonably comfortable, makes a weather tight (not submissible) seal and is a decent utility seat. I usually have all my garden manuals in the clean bucket I use this seat on, so I can carry my library with me and sit too, but I switch it around to other buckets full of dirt or fertilizer or whatever I need that day. The seat is a bit difficult to remove because of the weather tight seal, but that's understandable and acceptable.

It fit my bucket perfectly. I have one of those tool belts for buckets, so I have all my garden tools and a comfy seat when I need it, all together. Love it!

This has saved my a** and back a dozen times already. Working in the garden or on vehicles or ATVs. It's way more comfy than sitting on a milk crate or in the bottom of the bucket. Then when your done ding whatever just throw what you need in the bucket and go. The lid doesn't fit right in any of my buckets but it's sure isn't going to side off in any way either. Several people have tried to take my bucket lid and I have told them " get your own damn bucket lid!"

i have a large yard with lots of flower beds and I'm getting older so kneeling is getting harder. i purchased this to make my work more comfortable. this allows for me to store my hand tools and have them ready when needed.

Sorry, but in the picture this seat appeared to be more durable and “outdoor-suitable” than it seems. A bit disappointed. It did arrive on time, and as ordered.

This thing is so great. Waaay more comfy than the spinning one I had previously. I would recommend cutting the little lock tabs down immediately like I did. These are always way too tight and lead to cracking down the road.
