Just in time. Thank you. :)
Received the book in the condition described. Smooth transaction. No complaints. If you're ordering books for the new semester... trust this buyer no need to worry the book will arrive as described and on time. The cover of this book does not have a glossy finish like most hardcover books. It has more of a matte finish and has an unusually soft coating when you run your hands on the hardcover feels like a thin powdery surface. Doesn't slip out of your hands when you are in a hurry and on the go... because of that type of material used on the cover. Overall it's a very durable book. For the upcoming semester I'm definitely going to check these guys out again, and I recommend you should too.

Very Explanatory
This is good for a textbook. I bought it for my political science class. The boring part is that, in each chapter it covers a lot of case examples (state vs. etc.) But within the first 5 chapters the reader will gain a clear understanding of how the constitution and the bill of rights came to be, and how it allows us the freedoms to do a lot of things today, that we take for granted

Good over all content, But NOT neutral
Pretty good over all content to get a grasp on American government. Riddled favoring the democratic position though. Which is unfortunate since it is a text book and should be neutral and factual. But we are in collage right? time to think for ourselves and not just accept every thing they tell us as fact. Hopefully we are thinking for ourselves at this point.

The content is great, but...
Let me start by saying that I am not reviewing the content of the textbook itself, but the physical copy that I received. I rented this book as it was required for my class. When I got it, it was so sticky! I tried to wipe it down hoping that would help, but it still has a waxy feel to it. The pages are filled with other people's notes, and drawings, etc. I cannot concentrate on the text when the page is filled with markings. When I am RENTING a book, I expect the pages to be free of notes and high lights. I have been taught that you do not write in a book you are renting. If the book is bought used, it may have others writing. But this was not the case. If this is a problem for you as well, consider buying, I wish I had.

We The People Textbook
I am renting this book for a college level government course I'm taking this fall. Its in really great shape and It was delivered exactly on the date Amazon had estimated.I look forward to learning and being able to rent this for ~$45 vs buying it and have it sit on my self for $120 or however much it'd be to purchase new.

It was nice, what the teacher wanted I believe
It was nice, what the teacher wanted I believe. I only used it once, never really knew if it was an exact book because other people in the class had a different color but looked the same, was confusing! But it was in great shape, was able to sell it back.

My first amazon purchase
This is the first time I've bought anything on amazon, it was a really easy purchase and I now am buying more books online through kindle it's awesome I like it especially for rentals. The book itself is slightly different from the book my teacher uses but only because it's a different edition, overall the book is in good condition to use, I'm happy with it.

I am so glad I have this!
Started reading for my class but ended up reading for than I needed to.Very informative and easy-to-understand review on our government.Book is organized wellIt has really helped me understand the government to the point where I can talk politics around the dinner-table now without being afraid that I sound naive. Government news and shows are easier to understand now that I have a background to the governmental systems that I never learned about in high school.
