Perfect for post-surgical tissue manipulation without requiring a therapist or bodyworker.
This is the original version of this ball meant to meet your skin texture with a similar texture of its own. Recovering from major abdominal surgery, I've been using this ball partly deflated to roll around on. I lie on top of it and roll along the length of my scar, and it really loosens the tissue and makes the skin and scar less sensitive. I'll have a lot of other uses for this fitness-wise once I can do more, but nothing compares to this non-sticky, soft, skin-like texture. I've had more than my share of surgeries with giant scars, and I wish I'd had an option like this in the past. My physical therapist who is also a yoga teacher swears by these. In terms of functionality, the ball inflated almost instantly with an electric pump, and the pressure is easy to adjust with the stopper. It comes with an extra stopper, too. I identify with the purple color, but I bet the black is really nice, too. (I'm also grateful that the color is more subtle and less shiny than the photo shows.) It's bigger than a women's softball, but smaller than a women's volleyball, in case that helps you get a sense of the size.

Works fine for psoas stretch but no pump came with it
Needed to stretch psoas muscle. Pump was not included as indicated in description. Fortunately, we had a pump anyway. So filling it up was easy and it does exactly what I needed to do.

Durable
It’s a great product and helps me with my pelvic floor exercises. I have had this ball for years and recently had to repurchase due to our new puppy getting a hold of it. Don’t go for a knock off version and just get the real thing because it’ll last. It comes with an exercice guide that is useful.

Works OK but quality isn't great
I was a little disappointed with this order. I love my yoga tuneup balls, but this one felt like a lesser quality. The "coregeous" label is a sticker (it isn't even printed directly on the ball material) and it was stuck on in a way that folded the fabric of the ball over itself. Given the cost of this ball I thought it would be a little nicer quality than I received. You're really paying for the sticky material since the size and quality are no better than a regular children's toy. It's also hard to keep the air from coming out after you've blown it up. Luckily it only needs to be inflated to 85% because there's no way I could have gotten it to more than that given how it's manufactured. That said, I do really think the material is helpful with the exercises listed in the Role Model book and it works for what I bought it for, I just don't know the cost accurately reflect the quality.

No regrets
Easy to inflate with provided straw; extra set of cap & straw were included; the ball isn't supposed to be fully inflate, so losing some air when capping isn't a worry. That laying on a soft ball is effective in relieving discomfort and pain blows my mind. This ball is now included in my daily recovery and maintenance routines.
