(This is Phil's wife) The company is right, these are great products for those of us with curly/wavy hair. This is my second order of conditioner(Normal for me to use almost twice as much conditioner as shampoo lol)-Shampoo, nice light fragrance. Rich lather and does not coat or strip the hair shaft like some other natural shampoos do.-Conditioner, light conditioner but does have just enough slip. When I need a little extra frizz control I use a pea size amount for a leave in conditioner and it's just right.-Gel. This is a soft hold gel.. nice for a natural wet look or just gentle styling.All three products leave my hair, soft, clean and do not irritate my scalp or skin, while still allowing me to create many nice styles.The price is a little hefty for me.. but right now it's the best thing I've found.

Lovely! I researched natural personal care product extensively before I settled on MGA because it's full of only the good stuff, and actually works!! Max Green Alchemy conditioner smells heavenly, and the perfect light conditioner to follow up my coconut oil routine with. I have short thick curly hair that can get very unruly. I use this conditioner in conjunction with coconut oil and the MGA shampoo, which is equally wonderful. My only problem is that I feel like I have to use a lot of conditioner to get the moisture I need, so I use it in conjunction with coconut oil. My routine goes--coconut oil, shampoo, conditioner, I follow it up with MGA leave in styling gel and my hair is shiny, bouncy, and healthy as can be!

I am in the process of switching all my personal care products to natural/organic so I thought I'd give this a try since it had good reviews. Smells lemony/herby which is nice. Suds up really nice too. But my hair doesn't quite feel the same as it did with salon shampoo.. Not bad, just not quite as silky and manageable. But maybe this just comes with the territory of an natural shampoo..?

This conditioner and shampoo are the only products I use in my hair. This products helps my hair greasiness. If I use other shampoo and conditioner, my hair will look greasy after a day. But with these, my hair stays looking fresh and not greasy for at least 2 days. I highly recommend!!

Eh. I personally don't like the smell. It reminds me of an Asian medicine shop, but not as bad. And more lemon-y. And a little goes a little way. That is, I needed to use a lot of it. Which is good, because I didn't like it, but didn't want to waste it, so I wanted to get through it as quickly as possible. On the plus side, it's cruelty free and VEGAN - you know, if your hair is on a vegan diet.

It may not feel like it has a lot of "slip" upon first application, but using a wide-toothed comb it glides through pretty well. I feel like my hair is getting nourishment and comes out soft when I use this product. Definitely something that needs a leave-in conditioner to follow up with, though (I have kinky/curly hair). I have, however left this in my hair for extra conditioning too, which works pretty great. Ingredients are gentle enough, and the formula is light-weight enough to leave in, in my opinion.

Awesome stuff. Love the way it leaves my hair! I have graying curly hair which had turned coarse. This has made it soft and subtle again! Love it!
