I've used these notebooks throughout high school and college and will never buy any other type. Perfect grid size for note-taking and homework problems. Plastic covers are durable. The pages are on the thinner side so there is a little bleed-through when using highlighters, but I mostly use pencil so it's not a problem for me.

For my everyday notes and for teaching, I always carry a Mead notebook, Five Star, 8 1/2 x 11", 1 subject. I go through about one a month. These graph ruled notebooks are even better than college ruled. My block printing looks neater, is a uniform size and more legible, and my writing doesn't go sloping down the page. It’s more visibly pleasing, so it makes me happy just to look at a page.
