Mobee Technology Magic Feet - Universal Charging Base Station for all your Apple devices (MO4212)

I'm happy with this product, it performs well. The manufacturer, Mobee Technology, was professional and very understanding when replacing my initial item. They were more than happy to replace the product without one concern. The support team was professional and courteous! Big kudos for Gavin Hopwood.The performance of the item is excellent! It is efficient and reliable! I would highly recommend this product to others.

First of all, I've had the magic mouse charger for more than a year, and its pretty awesome, but it has some similar issues. I wanted to consolidate charging for both the mouse and the keyboard, to reduce battery waste.Both the mouse and magic feet charging do not sit very well in the battery compartment. For the mouse, this means that you sometimes lose connection (and the battery pack is such a tight fit that once you get it on its very difficult to get off). With the mouse, you can deal with this somewhat by using a small bit of foil between the battery print and the mouse's battery connection (or slightly bending out the battery pack's prong). Not optimal, but workable. I still lose connection every once in a while, but it comes back pretty quickly.For the magic feet, specifically the wireless keyboard battery pack, this is much more difficult. First this only works with the 2-battery wireless keyboards. Second (and the most problematic) is that the battery pack does not make the connection to the prongs inside the keyboard, thus the keyboard never turns on. After playing with this for 20 minutes or so (making sure the battery pack was charged and screwed in properly, etc.), I simply just started over-tightening the threading to screw in the battery. It simply was not making connection. I could have tried the foil trick like with the magic mouse, but I'm at work, not as easy an option. But I kept lightly twisting it (even to the point where I could hear the plastic creaking as it expanded, which is not good at all), and it finally got screwed in enough to connect.Once that was done, the whole setup works pretty great (typing on it right now).However, the hardware measurements for the keyboard battery pack are not precise and force improper seating of the battery pack...you have to go above and beyond to screw it in so tightly (and I mean super tight, more than you would reasonably think you needed to, at risk of breaking either the keyboard or the battery pack) to get the battery to seat and finally work.I give it a 4 because it works once you get past that, but its probably closer to a 3, and I only gave it higher because I've use other mobee chargers at length with no other issues other than extremely similar battery issues (which seem to be pervasive to mobee products).In short: works well, but you have to do things you shouldn't have to do to get it to actually work. They really need to re-engineer/re-design their battery packs to ensure proper seating without risking breakage.

Nice looking device. Delivered on time, and works great. Additional USB ports also very useful. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you don't have a lot of desk real estate.

I have not really used this item. I hope it will work better than the Magic Bar (see Comments on that). I have little incentive to really try to get it to work, as my main complaint was with the Mouse battery appetite, which was solved by the Mobee Mouse Pad.

if it worked it is great, the problem is it does not work. i finally set it up about 2-3 months ago and it has not worked correctly since i plugged it in. I own a similar item from this company and have had it for year and it works perfectly, but this item has had issues from day one.

Absolutely great that I can put devices on top to charge and "dock" the keyboard to charge, no more searching for batteries. Easy to connect and operate.

I was very excited to received this product as I was tired of wasting so many batteries. And it is a pain to constanctly remove your rechargable batteries from the keyboard just to charge them. Upon receiving the product, the battery did not fit inot the keyboard as the thread did not match. After research, I discovered that there was a 2nd generation Apple wirleless keyboard. I bought the new keyboard and the battery fit perfectly. I let the keyboard charge; however, it would never power on. To make sure I didn't have a defective keyboard I tried the keyboard with regular batteries and it work perfectly.This product was a great idea; however very poor execution. This was a total waste of my money and time.

Amazing no need for batteries any more. The setup is quick and easy.

Wer einen Imac mit der Apple Tastatur und der magic mouse sein eigen nennt, der sollte auf diese Ladestation von Mobee nicht verzichten und sie bei diesem Anbieter kaufen.

Cuando pedí este producto lo que buscaba era no tener que cambiarle las pilas nunca mas al ratón y al teclado de mi ordenador.Eso esta conseguido.Aparte de esto ahora lo tengo yodo mas recogido cuando esta apagado.Aunque el precio al principio te pueda echar para atrás con el tiempo acabaras rentabilizándolo.
