Q: Are the ingredients nonGMO at least?

It's wax that gets heated to 480 F for 60 minutes. I doubt that any organic with GMO is going to be left.

Q: Why doesn't this label contain net weight in u.s. and metric per the fair packaging and labeling act?

The Fair Packaging and Labeling Act is a U.S. law that applies to labels on many consumer products. The key word here is MANY...not necessarily ALL.

Q: so the pan will be in there for a total of 3 hours total at 500 degrees?

The directions say "one hour" at 480-500degrees. And since they also say to do this 3x then it would be a total of three hours!

Q: I have some pans that were seasoned with oil... can I still use this on them..?

Hi there, because our Cast Iron Wax is made from natural grapeseed oil, canola oil, and beeswax, you can definitely try it out on your pans. :) See below for more information: Heat: Place your cast iron pan in the oven and preheat your oven to 200-350 degrees F (93-177 C), allowing the cast iron to heat up for about twenty minutes. Rub: Rub Cast Iron Wax by Knapp Made on all sides of your cast iron pan (including the cover) with a rag or paper towel. Using a separate clean rag or paper towels, rub the cast iron for a second time, leaving a thin layer of wax on the pan. Polymerize: Place your cast iron back in the oven for one hour at 480-500 degrees F (250-260 C). This will allow for polymerization of Cast Iron Wax for seasoning to occur. Repeat: Repeat this process three times to make pan slick and ready to cook.
