Acupressure Chart - Points & Meridians Map – November 10, 2005

This is an amazing chart that contains a lot of material, while also being attractive to look at. (The background is lilac, the 5 elements are in bright colours, and meridian colours match the elements!) I had previously purchased the QuickStudy Academic Acupressure Laminated Reference Guide (for a much, much lower price), however was very disappointed in it as the points were not clear, and it was challenging to distinguish the meridians. I use this Michael Reed Gach chart for Yin Yoga archetypes, identifying meridians involved when I use therapy balls (Jill Miller 'The Roll Method'), as well as following John Kirkwood's books ('The Way of the Five Elements' & 'The Way of the Five Seasons'). I've read previous reviews about people receiving charts that had been bent/folded. The chart I received was particularly well packaged in a large box with packing. Despite this, 4 1/2" on the right side of the chart does have mild folds. I've mounted it on a door and it looks fine, and is easy to read. I'm grateful to have the chart, it was delivered quickly, and don't plan to return it. It is pricey but worth it to me. Given it is copyrighted 2014, I am glad to have it.

Lovely poster,full of info,very happy with the purchase! Not as happy with the way they chose to post the item. Two creases in the poster, and with it being laminated,the creases don't disappear. All it would take it would be to post it in a cardboard tube instead of a box. Luckily for me the spot on my wall for the poster is not hit by the light in a way that makes the creases that noticeable. I just feel with what one pays for the poster it should arrive in perfect conditions...

Very informative !!!Easy to locate acupuncture points and understand the subject.I am someone who has no previous knowledge of acupuncture but with the help of the booklet that came with the chart and the chart, I have been able to work on much of the health issue illustrated in the booklet. I highly recommend it for people with no previous knowledge interested in beginning self care with acupuncture.

The product information is great but the quality not. It seems like I got a used poster and booklet. It’s not worth my time and effort to return but buyers should know what they may be getting.

This is a great informative chart but just like the other reviews stated, why did it have to come so poorly packaged that it arrived with creases. I bought a poster from Alex Grey in the same shipment. It was impeccably packaged and it was a similar size and it even cost less. For the price I paid there’s no way someone couldn’t have taken the time to package this product more thoughtfully. I love it and it’s hung up so thank you but no thank you to the person who packaged this without concern for how the buyer would receive the end product. Not well done.

I want to start with to say that I am very happy with my purchase. The product arrived very quickly, and it was in good condition.It is a good chart, very explicit and it is easy to see the meridians and points outlined. Very much detail.I recommend this to everyone interested in acupuncture and acupressure.

I studied at Michael Gach's school 20 years ago, so I may have a special affinity for this chart for that reason. It is both functional and attractive, though, and I have seen it in many acupuncture and massage offices, schools, and even videos over the years, so I don't seem to be the only one!

The Acupressure Chart is absolute Beautiful color and is laminated. The Chart was in excellent shape with no cress or bends. Comes with a pamphlet "cheat sheet" Thank you so much!! Its going to look great hanging in my massage room.
