S'Quarrels Card Game - Quick Game for 2-6 Players of All Ages

I have played this game with my grandsons for a few years. It is one of our favorites.

I can play this game with my 10 and 12-year-old nieces, or we will play it at a couples game night. Just a simple fun game.

I needed a game to put in a Family Fun Night theme raffle basket and found this one. Looked like fun so I bought two. We love playing S'Quarrels!

The directions seemed super confusing the first time I looked at them. I played a few rounds pretending to be 3 people, and finally got it. I recommend trying out before teaching this game to people (but that could just be me!).I expect to have a lot of fun with this because it's a bit chaotic--you might think your turn is next but it can stolen quickly and many times. Each hand ends once the Winter card is drawn, so a hand could last 2 minutes or 10. The only strategy is how and when to store nuts for scoring, otherwise it's the luck of the draw or how quickly you can act. Seems better for 3 or more players.

I love this game. The goal is simple. The gameplay? simple. But it's still fun. Kind of like old maid in some aspects, and I like that you can add more or fewer rounds to make the game last only as long as you have, or longer if you want.

Grandkids, 9 and 11, loved this. Played countless rounds with them and they didn’t get tired of it. Will be going on vacation with us for a rainy day diversion.

I bought this a while ago to use as a holiday activity while the kids were off school. We opened it last night and discovered that we had duplicate cards.There’s 2 packs of cards that are supposed to be different ours were the same. So we have only 2’s & 5’s for the acorn cards and no 1’s, 3’s, or 4’s.Seems like it could be a fun game, but it gets pretty boring with a hand full of just 2’s because there’s way more of those than the 5’s.And because I bought it so long ago, I have no option to return it 😢

We purchased this as a Christmas present for our family of five (3 children, 13 & under). They love the game and the best part is that it is completely family friendly (no crass humor or innuendos to deal with). It was fun to watch my kids get competitive and laugh and they've been asking to play it over and over again. I think this will be a staple in the family gaming library. I can't really speak on whether or not it is OK for the youngest (8 years old) as he had little interest in playing card games, but it does seem like it would be one that the younger children could pick up easily.
