I have had 3 sets of blinds on my screened porch in 35 years, and these are the nicest. Don't waste your time on the cheap plastic ones at local home improvement stores - they only lasted a few years. I was on the hunt for blinds like I had for the first 20 years, when i found these. I had originally wanted the brown ones, but they weren't available in the sizes I needed, so I decided to try these. When I pulled them from the box, they looked greenish, but when hanging look more tan and brown. They would look nice with any earthy tone. I was concerned about the bamboo strip at the top being sturdy enough to support the widest size, but it is. I like all the stitching to hold the slats in place. The only issue was that one on the pins in the rolling mechanism was loose, so I put a piece of tape on it. I am very pleased with these.

I have 5 of these shades in different sizes up to 92". They all work properly and look great! Easy install.

Our son purchased a house 20+ years ago. Wooden blinds came with the house. A year ago the previous blinds begin to break. The strings holding the slats showed the end of their usefulness. We purchased these blinds as a replacement. Though lighter than the old ones the construction is as secure as the original. The new one appears sturdy and shields the porch from the east sun. In the winter it is a barrier from the tadiating cold on the single psne windows. Our son is pleased with the performance . He has used them for 5 months.

These were pretty inexpensive shades compared to some I have seen in others' homes, and their functions reflect this. That said, I kept them and they generally serve my purpose, but I confess to being disappointed. My main beefs:1. The cords are very unevenly distributed on both of the two shades I bought so that one is much longer than the other. To accomodate the shorter end, I had to put the wall tie piece higher than I would have liked, and still cannot put the shade all the way down (lacking about 6 inches).2. One of them usually rolls up appropriately in one direction as it is supposed to; occasionally it requires one hand to guide while the other pulls the cord. The other is a total miscreant, and merely gathers on top of itself every time it is raised, unless a hand it used to guide it. Otherwise it just piles on top of itself asit goes up. This doesn't affect its function or movement, but it looks a bit unsightly, especially if the other one is properly rolled up.3. My porch faces northwest and during spring and summer the sun is unbearable in later afternoon. With this orientation considerable sunlight still penetrates these shades, so while they make the untolerable somewhat tolerable, I still have to say the best descriptive word is "disappointing." (But if your primary need is privacy versus sun blockage, I think they would much better serve the purpose.)

LOVE these blinds. Yes, they are not 100% blackout at night; however, during the day, is perfect! So great and quick shipping, that I ordered more for our other windows.

This is exactly what I wanted for use on my front porch to shield the brutal evening summer sun. Gives off nice vibes offers privacy and easy to use and assemble. Would recommend. I only rated 4 vs 5 because well, it isn’t perfect.

Not sure I would spend $130.00 on these again. They are nice. Very see through. I should have went with a much cheaper set that would have done the same thing.

I really like these bamboo blinds. Nice colouring and better privacy compared to the stick type bamboo blinds.
