My Life as a Stuntboy (The My Life series, 2)

Absolutely love these books by Janet Tashjian. My son had to read a book that was nominated for the Nutmeg book award for Summer reading homework and he couldn't find one that sounded interesting so I saw My Life as a Book and had him read that - we both loved it! When I saw My Life as a Stunt boy was available I couldn't wait to get it and we weren't disappointed at all. It's a good book, it flows well and keeps your interest. We will definitely read the rest in the series.

This is the second in this series, and my son and I loved this even more than the first. The genre is similar to the Wimpy Kid series, but the characters are so much more genuine. The main character has to deal with some very believable adolescent issues but at the same time, the story has action and humor, and makes you laugh out loud. We can't wait to read the next one!

My second grader can’t put it down.

my son read this book in a few days and could not put it down. he's 9 and reads on and slightly above grade level. he's a hard one to please with finding books, but THIS book and those by this author were total entertainment. the pictures are fun. the notes and doodles are fun. the book is just a good, fun book for 9 year old boy in the 4th grade!

My son is looking forward to reading this - unfortunately, the library version that we checked out ended up in some water and had to be purchased and returned to the library. thanks for the great prices.

My daughter loves this series. She highly recommends reading all of them. She thinks it is very cool that it is a mother/son collaboration between the writing and illustration. The book store in our area didn't have it on the shelf so we stood there and ordered the Kindle version from inside the store. She had the book finished the next day! Terrific book in a terrific series. Strong vocabulary, and wonderful lessons taught through a delightful story. The perfect series for a reluctant reader!
