Great product
I'm not sure why it's only rated 3 stars because I give it 5! It arrived really fast and the bag was much fuller than anticipated. Very high quality product ⭐⭐

I was hasty to buy, but...
So i was excited to grow my own medicine and purchased this for the ease of the process. A little voice told me it wasn't a good idea, to do the work on my own step by step. Should have listened to that one. Luckily, all hope isn't lost. I thought "woooahhh hold on this has to do with contamination an all that...let me check the reviews" and they are all bad. Contaminated at a high rate per bag. This made me open the package to inspect the grain bag. It was condensated heavily (not sure if good or bad), no tears or anything. I felt as though I could see water browned from the grain, which I assume is not ideal. Lastly, I swab the bag with 90percent alcohol thoroughly...the pad came out brown with dirt. I'm brand new to this, an infant at it...but I'm positive if I were to have inoculated, that grain would have been contaminated along with my first syringe of spores. Nah, I'll take the (annoying) time and effort to make my own spawn bags or jars thank you very much.

Lost potential
Unfortunately, this bag has a very small hole that guaranteed contamination to take hold. I'll probably have to toss it in the near future.Addendum: after short term storage I have noticed a sour smell from the container holding the oats. Upon further inspection I noticed a beetle of some kind inside.I do not reccomend this merchant.

contsm. Then innoculate
The bag looked well sealed. Not over burnt the humidity in the grain looked a bit low. But not. I innoculted bag within 2 days of recieving in a glove with my.own home.made bags usiing sterile tech as I have done before many many times. Using a brand new syringe. Unfortunately with 28 hrs. I noticed rust colored mold, green mold looked much like penicilin and a grey very stickyooking but dry powdery mildew. No mycelium whatsover. The bags of my.own making thatbwhere innoculated using the same syringe after this bag are not growing anything. Also I have qualms and questions of the quality of the grain being used. Not only.if the grain very dark looking co.pared to the higher quality rye I use . There are also full wheat kernals with the grass parts attachted all throught the bag. In addition to the non rye wheat I see there is alot of other kernals that I do not recognize. A few looking like vardamom pods. Idk what alot of these kernals are.but they is alot more than just simple.rye berries. So much so that Im wondering if maybe it was one purpose. I see in description to be clai.ing only.rye. theres no hole in filter bag that I can see so Im wondering if the bag was sterilized properly. By looks alone it seems that the bottom of the barrel was used with all.the debree from a low quality bag of grain. I really dont knkw whatbto make of it . I teied tonuse but at this point its pretty.much worthless.to me.for my purposes. $18 is alot co.pared to the cost of materials in making one of these. I have all the pro level tools necassary to do this . But I was.hopong to getba quick start on a project and honestly.just didnt want to put in so much effort into making.my.own. was.just paying dor convieniance . Ut now Im.past due on my.project a bit and Im.ending.up having to make my.own anyways. Not the biggest deal but when Im paying $18.00 for something that besides effort doesnt even equate to a full dollor I really expect it to work. Thats why I was willing to pay extra . As it stands now ive got to dona run of my.own bags as it makes.nk sense to fire up my.huge anerican standard to make a singke bag. The worst part is the wasring of my innoculant solution. The syringes I use a extremely rare and valuable. Paying up and over $50 a syringe. Again me.being lazy and not wanting to do a liquid.culure tech has bit me in the bum. Id be willing to try the product again if I could gurantee a different cleaner grain mix. I undestand that so.etines when making these you can lose a few to contams.even befor they are in oculated so I wouldnt avoid this seller or.his products . The bags look good stron and I dont see any flaws in the product besides again the grain "mix" or. Just sad to lose even a couple ccs to contams because you cant get them back. And when working in a scedule it puts off a rotation. I wish I had some real positive comment ms rather than criticism. On that not the impulse.seal.looked good the bag looks sturdt . The filter.patch is not dirty or torn and it appears that the grain and the bag are not overburnt as can happen. All this leads to to think maybe a few more minutes under 15psi would have saved this bag even with the very weird grain "mix"
