SureSport Ultra 8 Compression Foot/Ankle Sleeve(White and Grey)

My feet swell quite a bit due to my rheumatoid arthritis. I bought one of these at a health fair a few months ago and it helped so much that I sought them out and found them on Amazon. Now I have a pair that I can wear together and my feet don't swell during the day. These are very comfortable ask as well as being soft. I wish they made these with about a 9" leg length.These wash up very well and don't stain at all. I wash them by hand in the sink with cold water and laundry detergent and hang them to dry. They dry very fast as they should because they are supposed to wick water and sweat away from your body and they do.I bought the XL because I didn't want them really tight on my ankles and feet. If you want them for support you'll probably order the size for you foot according to the chart.

I have been dealing with peronial tendonitis. I have purchased many different ankle supports, including this suresport compression sleeve. The main thing that drew me to this was that it said there is targeted compression (where you see the grey X shape that wraps around the sleeve). I didnt not feel any targeted compression at all when wearing this. I did feel like it provided compression throughout the whole sleeve, but the grey areas of the sleeve felt no different than the rest. If you are looking for something for an injury, I would say to pass on this unless you plan to wear it when doing light walking etc. But if you need a good amount of support for an ankle injury, you probably want to try another option. This gives good compression to get your blood flowing and reduce pain but it should not be used in place of an ankle support.

I got this compression sleeve to help with my plantar faciitis pain while awaiting my custom orthotics. I had been taping my foot to provide support and pain relief, but had to give it up because of skin irritation from the tape. I found the SureSport Ultra 8 Compression Sleeve to be an excellent alternative to taping. It gave me very good relief from pain. I wore it under my socks and even by itself with sandals.

I got Posterior tibial tendinitis from running. Basically the tendon around the sides of my ankle hurts when I push off with my foot - this tendon helps support the arch, but with it being weak I need to look for some extra support. These compression socks have been my buddies. They have helped my feet without being to loose or too tight, just enough "hugging" throughout the day to increase blood flow to this "watershed area" where blood generally prefers to bypass. More blood to the area increases the speed of recovery. No discomfort on the linings where the toes peep out or the leg as with other products. No one should ever sleep with compression on and I've forgotten a few times. The great thing is though that these are fairly easy to remove in bed in the dark at 4 am when you realize the foot needs air pronto - no fighting with the socks. I highly recommend.

These are the first plantar sleeves I've tried, but man do they ever feel good! I also got some Dr. Scholl's PRO 1/2 size sole inserts to go with them, which I also recommend. The inserts have high arches and amazing cushioning, and the sleeves are stretching out your tendons all day long. They are highly effective when used at the same time. 4 stars for now, until I see how long they last.

I've started to have ankle pain in the last year, my orthopedic doctor said that a figure 8 bandage would help support my ankle.This one looks much better than the ones you find at the drug store, I shouldn't be concerned with the fashion aspect of an ankle brace, but if you have to wear one, why not look good.This was great for a long day at Hershey Park, ankle was still sore, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. I've started investing in better shoes with better support.If your ankles, knees, legs, hurt when walking you need to start buy quality shoes and look into orthopedics, you'll be amazed at the difference.

Be sure you understand that there is only one sock, not one pair. I did not notice that in the billeted list. It's the first bullet written. With that being said, I bought these for my husband. He has the planter fasciitis in both feet. We were taken aback that there was only one in the package but he said they feel nice and cool on his feet. Luckily I ordered two packages although in different colors. Since they are worn under your socks it won't matter. He thinks they feel great and worth the money. That's all that matters.

This is the most comfortable sock of this type I have found yet.I'm a woman's shoe size 7, this sock fits to above the ankle and to the base of the toes. I ordered two of them in order to have a pair, they provide plenty of support without feeling overly tight as my other support socks do.
