Smooth & Strong
Typhoo Gold is their strongest yet smooth. I pick fresh mint to add this time of year. Sometimes I add a small piece of ginger. Typhoo has so much flavor. It really doesn’t need that, but I got into the mint, ginger habit with green tea. My Dad tried a cup of the gold and now he’s hooked too. And he only drank strong coffee. I’ve had Typhoo’s red box and it was better than all my previous go to’s. I’m sticking with gold for that robust flavor.

Excellent all-day tea
Having grown up with "real" tea, I consider this one of only two really excellent commercial-grade English Breakfast-style teas, the other being ToH Yorkshire Gold. Great for drinking hot, iced, even cold-brew. I prefer loose-leaf for style, but this is a lot more convenient!

Wonderful British Tea
The flavor of Typhoo Tea Gold is wonderful--a light, full bodied flavor. It's my new favorite.

Exceeded expectations
It's alright. Definitely exceeded my expectations, but it's pretty just alright still.

Morning Wake Up
After my favorite loose tea was bought by another company, I tried the product and it was terrible. Switched to tea bags. Again found a really robust tea, but that was bought by another company, and the tea became weak. Was reading reviews of tea on line, and many people mentioned Typhoo. I tried the regular. It was good but I found myself either using two tea bags or less water. Then I tried the Gold. Perfect. It is robust without being bitter. I like a mug in the morning, and the strength is just perfect for me. Yet I can have a cuppa at dinnertime without the caffeine affecting me. I now carry a few tea bags in a pouch in my purse for when I am out for breakfast or dinner. My friends who like stronger tea love it, and I find that my purse stash needs replenishing more often as I "lend" them a bag when we are out.

more robust and flavorful
Lately, I've really gotten into trying different teas but I found English Breakfast a bit boring and Earl Grey too "light". I was looking for something more "robust." My sister-in-law recommended Typhoo - the brand she preferred growing up in Scotland. She was definitely right. Typhoo is a stout tea with plenty of flavor, yet not harsh or bitter. If you are looking for a light and delicate tea, Typhoo Gold isn't for you. If you want a strong, robust, flavorful "cuppa" then you want Typhoo Gold.
