Squeaker Stuffies 20-Count, Brand, Medium, 1 3/4", 44.5mm, Dog Toy Replacement Squeakers

The day I got these, I opened a seam in each of my dog's plush toys and placed two squeakers inside, one at each end. My beagle loves the squeak, but doesn't "maul" her toys- she will just gently gnaw them to death. One of her toys, the factory-issued squeaker didn't last 24 hours. Poor craftsmanship for a toy I paid pet-shop prices on. Now she has been enjoying them all for over a month, and each toy still has both squeakers intact.The small size is softer but very high-pitched, which I actually prefer to the louder medium-size. She does not wake anyone up with her toys when she plays at night. The smaller size is also easier to fit into the stuffing without having to make a big hole in the seam. I am so happy I made this purchase.

I have used this brand for several years to replace de-squeaked dog toys. I started replacing defunct squeakers after finding my large dogs could de-squeak them in a month or less. Then they had not interest in the toy most likely because without the squeak their prey drive was not stimulated. I just cut open the stitches of the stuffed toy, remove the old squeakers, put in two or three of these depending on the size of the toy, sewing them back up by hand and they are good to go. The dogs watch me preform the toy surgery and wait anxiously for me to complete my task before they can once again squeak the heck out of their toys. By doing this I have extended the life of their stuffed toys from months to years and year. Until the toy gets so dirty that washing can not revive them. Washing the stuff toys is just something I do and yes, it may kill the squeakers sooner than if I did not wash and dry them. But that is a sacrifice I am willing to make to keep the stuffed toys half way clean. One dog leaves them out in the rain and then they must be washed and dried to salvage the toy.

These squeakers are great in keeping stuffed toys like new. When I was my fur kids' stuffed toys, many times the squeaker gives out. I just open a seam in the toy and replace the squeaker with a new squeaker! This product is very sturdy and is actually much better than most squeakers that come in the stuffed toy.

Some seem to lose the "squeak" rather quickly, so I wouldn't sew them into any pet toy. But if you're just putting them in a sock with some stuffing for a toy only planned to be used a couple weeks then it's great. Our pups are hard on dog toys so that is usually the life expectancy before they pull out the stuffing anyway. Otherwise this is a good value for making quickie pet squeak toys. I will probably keep buying these.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these to put in some dollar store stuffed animals for my dog and they were perfect. they fit folded through a small opening in the seam then popped out to full size. as you see in the video the squeaker is good and loud so its not muffled by the fabric of the toys(no she didn't keep the squeaker she dropped it so no choking worries). As you see it really gets her attention. so these were a huge success with what i wanted to do with them. Definitely recommend this brand and size

These work really great as replacement squeakers for toys. They are loud and responsive. However, when I first got them and inserted a couple into my puppy's favorite toy, they lasted about as long as the original squeakers did -- MERE SECONDS before he was able to chew through the squeaker even through the fabric of the toy.So here's what I did: Wrap several layers of duct tape very loosely around the squeaker body, but not around the head of the squeaker so the air can still escape. Wrap it loosely so the squeaker can still expand to fill with air. Once I did this, the squeakers now last much, much longer. Just don't try it if your dog is able to rip the squeakers out of the toy, because then you'll be in danger of him ingesting the duct tape.With the duct tape adding a layer of armor around the squeaker, the squeak life is extended dramatically without diminishing the squeakiness at all.

They were a little bigger than the ones I usually get and more than likely it was my fault for not completely reading the description. Other than that, they came quickly and in perfect shape. For larger squeak toys.

I bought these for my dogs toys. He never punctured the toys but killed the squeaker in minutes so instead of buying new toys I cut the lining and replaced the squeaker with these. His favorite toys instantly given a longer life.
