First Aid For the USMLE Step 1 2020, Thirtieth Edition

Saved me during systems courses, and super helpful to review while studying for both step exams. Best book I bought during medical school.

FA is basically the bible for med students, so here I am, worshipping at the altar of our lord and savior McGraw Hill. It's concise and to the point which makes studying easier and more efficient. I use it with Picmonic since they have a page by page follow along feature that lets me look up any mnemonics they have for the topics on a given page/chapter. Then I review everything with UWorld.I do wish I bought this sooner to help identify high yield info earlier on in school. Long story short, First Aid is a must-have for anyone preparing for Step 1!

Awesome source! I got it used in good condition and honestly, it's brand new looking with the exception of 1 single page that has some written in notes. Excellent buy, still super relevant to today's material!

What else is there to say? Probably much less necessary with Step 1 going P/F but still probably the most comprehensive rapid review out there. Helped me score >90th percentile on the test.

Had to replace my 2019 version after my son ripped some pages out, and I actually prefer this version. Some people have complained about the quality of printing but I have not run into this issue. I received an authentic copy in perfect condition, so no complaints here. I plan on getting it spiral-bound at Staples so it’s a bit easier to manage. I did this to my 2019 version and highly recommend it.

Lol if you’re buying this it’s not because you want to, but because you have to. So a review won’t really make a difference to you.Butt either way, First Aid is tried and true, it’ll get the job done. It’s so thicc that it’ll dry the numerous nights worth of tears you spend crying into it.Happy studying friends.

Ive used it to study for my usmle step 1. PERFECT! Is not a resource that you HAVE TO HAVE, but it helps a lot. I know there is this UFAP strategy, i dont think is mandatory, but still a great purchase.

Well received the international edition which is not quite the book shown in the pic of the product. And yes, received an original copy. Some reviews might be misleading which say the book is a duplicate. Be sure to check and hologram and the qr code on the back.
