Red Carpet Studios Balancing Buddies Large Yard Art, Butterflies

I purchased the "balancer" for placement in a newly planted landscape and I couldn't be happier. It is sturdy, yet delicate and so mesmerizing to watch. I love the of whimsy it brings to my yard and my life.

This is the second of the balancing buddies we have ordered (the first was the dragonfly). Both arrived quickly. Packing was ok.They are unusual and very attractive to the eye. My M-I-L (dragonfly) has hers in the front yard by her picture window so that she can watch it during the day; my sister has hers in the garden (butterfly) near her bench. They can withstand most winds - however the dragonfly took wing when the wind gusted over 20 mph and suffered some slight damage. But, I'm not sure that was the fault of the product.

This yard art item is only a year and a half old. I was shocked to see this morning that the entire post had totally deteriorated and the the rock portion was laying on the ground. There is absolutely no way to repair. It does not seem suitable for outdoors. Have similar yard art, same age, and they are not deteriorating.

Pure junk! Within 6 months of use..the item has rusted and broken into several pieces. Be aware and avoid this item as it is garbage!

This item is very cute, although the packaging could have been better. Was stuffed in a box which was put in another box. I hope the bowl part lasts- I read other balancing buddies reviews that the bowl rusts and disintegrates. I also own the frogs with crowns but I like this one better.

I was impressed with the looks of this yard ornament. It assembled easily and looks as described on the website. But it keeps falling over. The four-inch spikes are not enough to keep it stable, at least not in the soil in my yard. I will put rocks around the bottom to stabilize it. I think four prongs rather than the two it has might make it stand up better. The three stars are for this reason. I give it four stars for looks and quality.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a beautiful, whimsical, and sturdy piece of art that is a wonderful addition to our yard. I’m amazed that even with heavy rain and winds the butterflies stayed on the stand. Love this!!

The product arrived well packaged, and was very simple to assemble. It looks fanciful and delightful in the garden, and surprisingly stands up to high wind and inclement weather-- just bobbing along happily. A lovely addition to the garden for a very good price!
