Terribly made of cheap materials. Not surprised they Broke Quickly,
I bought these over and year and half before writing this. I now have them as decorations at my counter, but when I had the misfortune of trying to use these, they were terrible knives. Broken within days against real Parmigianno Reggiano. They go into the cheese fine. The problem is when you don't want the knife in the cheese anymore, you can take the handle but the blade stays firmly planted in the cheese. Honestly, even if they weren't made terribly, they are too small to perform the function they need to. Good Parmesan knives need to be a bit like wedges, and they need to penetrate much deeper than these knives can. An additional problem is that the wood for the handle is of very low quality. It's one of those types that splinters a lot in water, so washing them, even by hand and lightly, causes them to fall apart. If you need these to work, and you need to cut cheeses, get Boska Holland's Parmesan knives. They are the Rolls Royce of working cheese knives.

Depends on what you use it for
This works good for household cheese break downs but if your a Chef like me and need to break down a whole Parm wheel this one is too flimsy n will not get the job done.
