3 Jaw Oil Filter Wrench Range 2-1/2 Inch from 4 Inch with Scratch Protection and Free Gloves Fits ⅜ and ½ inch Drive

The oil filter on my Ram 1500 is not easy to get to, much less get a good grip on. This little tool made it easy. The ratcheting action works in both directions and grips easily. It gets in very small spaces and the 1/2" adapter makes it easy to use with any ratchet or air tool. I already have plenty of rubber gloves, but throwing in a couple pair is icing on the cake. I'd recommend this to any home mechanic.

This product is nice because it adjusts to different sizes. It comes with extra tips, which is a good thing because I've only used it once and already two of the tips are torn. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but is a neat little tool.

This is a very solid product the griping power is outstanding the quality is super made very well very durable and made to last a lifetime very happy with product and the very easy use from tool.

This would work if you have plenty of space between the oil filter and anything else around it. My Silverado does not have enough space for this to fit and twist until it closes on the filter.

Bought this to do a DIY oil change on a 2016 yamaha r6 and remove the OEM filter. Had to remove the plastic cover on the arms just to get it in. Was not as easy to operate as would a oil filter socket wrench. Get a right size socket wrench if you have a R6. Also, will never use this tool so let me know if anyone needs it. I'm going with K&N oil filters that can be easily removed by a spanner....no more OEM filters.

I used it to remove the oil filter on my 2001 Tacoma which is in a confined area. I bought it due to good price with a discount, reversible feature and this oil filter wrench has the plastic cover on each jaw to protect the oil filter from being scratched or damaged . It is a little bit difficult to get a grip on the filter if it gets oily. But once you get a grip on it, you can remove it easily. It is hard to tighten the oil filter with bare hand on my 2001 Tacoma due to confined area. So I used this wrench to tighten around 1/8 turn without damaging the oil filter and there is oil leaking. The downside is that all 3 plastic covers are damaged after first use as shown in the picture. I will use wrench extension in order to get a grip easier.

The product itself came and described but I got a pair of blue plastic glove the ones in the picture look like much better quality. The product also doesn’t have a way to lock it in place if I want to move to get a better grip I risk it opening and falling on my face 🙄😬
