Love magnetic oil plugs. It’s what we use in jet engines for oil plugs. Love that it’s made in the USA and has a super strong magnet. My biggest fear putting something like this in my oil pan is that it might fall apart and become a bigger problem than it is meant to solve. The other brands look questionable. No worries about that for this part. Very well made. Sane socket size as OEM.My only issue was that the magnet was so strong that it stuck to the steel pan when I tried to install it. Took 10 extra seconds to install. 😁 just bought my 3rd one. I will have one in all my engines.

I purchased this Votex valve for my oil drain system in the M14 x 1.5MM size and it has been working great so far. The construction is solid and feels like high-grade stainless steel. The threading was clean and there were no issues during installation. It was very easy to install and took me under five minutes. It makes oil changes a lot less messy and I no longer have to deal with stripped plugs or hot oil splashing everywhere. The materials feel durable and well-machined and the design is simple to operate without tools.One thing I wish is that it came with a protective dust cap or a locking clip for added safety. It also sits a bit lower than the stock plug so clearance could be something to watch out for if your vehicle rides low. I plan to upload a photo soon to show how it fits on my engine in case others are unsure about compatibility. Overall I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cleaner and easier oil change experience.

5 stars easily. NOTE: Use an OEM crush washer and a new one every time you change your oil. The OEM crush washer fits perfectly around this magnetic drain plug so this is better than the provided crush washer or aftermarket one purchased at your local auto store.This drain plug screams USA MADE quality it is superb in craftsmanship to any drain plug I’ve put my hands on. Rock solid, not some aluminum magnetic drain plug that you pray doesn’t fail you. In our 2008 Honda CRV this drain bolt goes in perfectly! The magnet is powerful and picks up and holds any metal harmful debris, in addition to what your oil filter removes. Extra protection. You will see what I mean when you place your hands on this drain bolt it is more than worth the price they charge; best craftsmanship/machining I’ve ever seen for a engine drain plug. HINT: The magnet on the end is very strong and may cause the drain bolt to move to one side as you attempt to put it back on so don’t screw it back on until you are certain it is absolutely straight and lined up with the threads. HINT 2: Using any power tool when removing or tightening an oil drain plug is just plain not intelligent. Always use hand tools such as a ratchet and ALWAYS use a quality torque wrench so you don’t over tighten the drain bolt causing you to destroy your oil pan or at a minimum distort your crush washer so it no longer seals properly. Always use a new OEM crush washer they are meant to conform/crush/seal once…yes in a pinch I’ve even reused one but it is not best practice.

What a simple, great product. The added assurance of the magnet is a plus. Really appreciate that these are manufactured by a small company. The crush washers are a bonus also.This plug feels very sturdy. It’s nice to look at, and simple. I liked them so much that I bough three. One for a civic, and one each for my Silverado. Wish I had more cars!

Fits Mazda RX8 and seals perfectly.

It fit my Audi Q7 replacing the old original one that the torx key hole stripped out. It has a very strong magnetic, but it was a bit longer although it didn’t seem to cause any problems. I wished the price could be more reasonable though.

Beautiful packaging, it's not often I see stuff like this shipped with a thread protector on it. I bought the non-magnet one for my Mazda CX-9. Very nicely machined drain plug, recommended. I bought it because the previous owners used an oversized socket on my existing drain plug, and rounded the edges off.

This is a very well made drain plug from Stainless Steel, it includes an aluminum crush washer and is pre-drilled for safety wire. The threads are clean with no burrs or defects and installed easily. This plug is a great value for the money .
