Took 4 month to brake
Worked well until the plastic piece, that holds the lower ceramic grinder stationary on the axle, cracked. Now the whole thing is useless.

The setting when it first arrived was too fine for my pour-overs and in my refillable K-cup
UPDATE (7-15-16):I enjoyed this product while it lasted. All of a sudden, the center just spins and spins, without grinding any beans. I tried giving it a fresh washing. I tightened the nut on the bottom, but just the center spins - the burrs don't.I contacted Orjoe Coffee, and they honored their "Guarantee for lifetime if not completely satisfied." I speedily got a replacement, which works great! My original review after buying the grinder in 2015:I am really enjoying my OrJoe coffee grinder. The setting when it first arrived was too fine for my pour-overs and in my refillable K-cup. It's taken a couple of adjustments and trials, but I think I have it on the right setting now for my purposes.I appreciate that the grind is consistent - in the several different grind settings I've tried. It's quiet - a real plus since I'm the early riser in our house.I did not receive a discounted price to try this product out, :-) - though the price on Amazon seemed good compared to several other similar manual grinders whose ratings weren't as high as this one. So far so good.

Decent grinder and GREAT seller support.
I had prior used a friends grinder just like this (branded by another company) and it worked great. When these were selling for around $19 PRIME, I got myself one to use. That said.....lets get this out of the way now. These are mass produced in China, likely by a single manufacturer and sold by many retailers branded under their own name. These are all the same decent little travel grinder. Now I like my current Hario but it's hardly a travel grinder.PROS: This travel grinder is smaller, fits inside my AeroPress, quieter (has a lid), fast grinding, pretty easy to clean out, easy grind adjustment, handle detaches, and easy to grip while grinding. Easily worth the $20 price.CONS: These all have the same Achilles Heel. The ceramic bur is adapted to the crankshaft via a black plastic adapter. The design is not robust, the plastic adapter can crack and disengage the burr from the handle. If you are grinding anything light roast (harder bean) it will place additional stress on this adapter. Not worth the current $32 price.*I had an issue with mine and OrJoeCoffee stepped up with some great customer service. So I am glad I bought mine from them.**My current grinder lasted 11 months of use (knowing what the weakness is) grinding med roast beans. Again the problem is the "design" of this plastic adapter NOT the material. There are some new ads out there noting an "improved" plastic material. Sorry but a material change alone is not going to overcome the design weakness....unless it's an alloy adapter. I also see ads for $8 w/ PRIME versions of this grinder. Anything over $8 is too much for this grinder. That's cheap enough to buy two and have one on standby when the first one fails.

Five Stars
After 3 years broke

Not durable.
The Good: delivers a fairly consistent grind. Is great for travel; perfect if you need to grind beans a few times a year. The Bad: after 3 months of daily use the plastic piece that holds the crank to the grinding burr breaks. I used one at home and one at my office. Now, I have two non-grinding metal tubes.

Nice Little Coffee Grinder
This is a pretty good litttle coffee grinder. It does a nice consistent grind that goes well in a conical dripper. I use the Clever dripper and it works nicely. It brews a nice strong smooth cup. It's not very complicated to take apart and clean. Just beware of the small parts and make sure you put it back together exactly how it was. I clean the parts with a toothbrush, especially the ceramic blades. All in all a nice little grinder, and it's fun to make this a part of the morning coffee brewing ritual.

Great for my fresh French press and aero press coffee
Ceramic blades work well, every know and then I will get a few beans that are not the same size as the rest of them but this doesn't bother me greatly. I use a medium to medium fine grind typically whenever using my French press or the aero press. I will more than likely buy another once this once goes out of business. I doubt that will be soon though as it built pretty sturdy and it actually has some weight to it.

Not the best, but good value
Good value. This is less than half the price of similar expensive grinders, but it does show in the quality of the item. The grinding shaft is a bit wobbly, which produces a less uniform grind. Also the stainless steel edges on both the catching cup and the top lid are quite sharp, enough to slice if you handle it wrong. The gauge of the stainless steel also seem a bit thin, certainly less substantial than the more expensive grinder that this is modeled after. However: the edges can be sanded smooth easily with a bit of fine sandpaper. The grinding shaft is not so wobbly that it produces a grind so inconsistent as to be unusable. The resulting grind is certainly more consistent than a blade grinder could produce. The grinder DOES fit into an Aeropress plunger, though of course being taller and sticking out a few inches. So with some configuring this grinder and a complete Aeropress set both will both fit into the Aeropress nylon travel bag. All in all, this grinder is a nice, cheap way to assemble a secondary or travel brew kit.
