Arkwright Clearwater Cabana Striped Oversized Beach Towel - Pack of 2 (30 x 70 inch, Gray)

I'm not a gigantic guy, but at 6'1", I wanted a beach towel that I could lay on the ground and would cover most of my body. These oversized 70" ones fit the bill.I'm usually pretty darn skeptical of textiles I see online, whether it's on Amazon or elsewhere. Whether it's towels, blankets, or sheets, phrases like "Egyptian cotton" or "500-thread count" or "long-staple" are things that are so often thrown around without actually meaning anything, so I always caution myself against reading too much into the buzzwords.After reading the reviews, though, I decided to take the plunge on these towels. As a 6'1" guy, the size (30" x 70") was exactly what I was looking for (most other beach towels seemed to be 60" in length), the reviews were good, and the price was right. And I gotta say, I was not disappointed.I went for the white/gray striped ones, since I'm a simple guy with simple tastes. They look sleek enough for me. No complaints on the color, stiching, no problems with loose threads. You'll get a lot of lint in your dryer trap with the first couple of wash/dry cycles, but that's towels for you (seriously, Google it; moulting affects basically every towel).Now, the important parts: comfort and absorption. First of all, I was fairly shocked at how soft and comfortable these towels were, despite being relatively thin. And as a 30-something year-old male who enjoys football, beer, weightlifting, and other manly man things, I'm not easily shocked by the comfort level of a towel. This was a big deal. Absorption-wise, I can't have any complaints. They do exactly what I'd expect them to as beach towels; no more, no less.Bottom line: probably the cheapest price point you'll find for towels of this quality. Anything less expensive is bound to be a worse product, and if you want anything more (not sure what that would be; are you expecting your towels to also function as waffle makers?), you're going to have to pay a lot more. But in all seriousness, if you need a slightly larger quality beach towel, get these, and you won't be disappointed.

They are OK, I've owned quite a few beach towels before. These feel like slightly bigger regular towels, something you'd find for cheap at Walmart. They are thin and wrinkle super easy. I'm am Uber Driver and needed something to bring in my car to lay on the seats on rainy days. They wrinkled up a lot just sitting there in a roll up fold, similar to how they arrived. A "real" beach towel is thick enough that it doesn't wrinkle unless it's wet and really compact.

This towel is fantastically soft, kind of heavy (in a good way), and long. You just want to wrap yourself in it and go to sleep (and I have). The best buy in a towel I've come across. I haven't had them (I bought two) for a long time and I haven't used them a lot because they're not for everyday use in my household, so I have no idea how they will hold up in the long run.

They go well with my patio furniture, unusually subtle for outdoor towels, not oversize by any means. but still a oood value.

These towels are thinner than most but oftentimes, this could be a positive since they dry faster and are easier to carry around. Lightweight, large, and thin is how I can describe these towels.

Nice n big. Soft. Absorbs well. Very very cute too! I bought the orange to start with and loved it so much went back and bought the purple.

Best set of towels I ever purchased! I have a family of 4 children and we all love the durability of these towels. They are extremely comfortable, light, and the perfect size. With 6 people in the house with tons of use, tons of washer and dryer cycles, these towels still look brand new towels. I am most impressed with the durability, yet softness of the towels. Two thumbs up and 5 stars from this household.

Average absorbancy, not packable really for travel, good towel material but nothing fancy. Don't really understand the request for 'sweetness' rating on a towel product, so just gave it a general average feedback.

Really pretty and soft, but first time washed, so much lint got on everything else it was literally white. I bought these for my daughter who is tall and they are a lovely large size, but simply not absorbent. Maybe it takes 20 or 30 washings and they will get better.

These are good quality, large, beach towels. It’s hard to find thick ones but these did the trick. They don’t bleed in the wash. But I got yellow and purple
