Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender Omnibus: Marvel Omnibus

Fantastic!

I’ve always liked the xforce so I thought I’d love this. While the book treads on interesting plot points unfortunately the entire story is ruined thanks to a single character, Fantomex. I stupidly didn’t realise he was part of the squad before I bought this. If you disliked him in new Xmen (like me), prepare to vehemently despise him here. He destroys every story arc in this book. Just to name a few, He manipulates another team member to cheat on their partner, he does despicable acts and has an annoying personality. I found myself skimming certain pages and rushing to close this book. This turned out to be the first omnibus I regret buying. If you’re really interested in reading this, use marvel unlimited. If you like it then I’d recommend buying the hardback. Don’t buy this as a first reader.

As a major fan of the Uncanny X-Force series I was thrilled to be able to pick up the complete collection from Amazon. The product shipped quickly, in great quality, and in a large print which shows off the beautifully detailed pictures.

Amazing book in my opinion. Remender really makes the Uncanny X-Force his own. I was hooked from cover to cover. Its a good read even if you havent read too much x-men but its that much better if you've read the Kyle/Yost X-Force run and even the Messiah Complex/war and Second Coming books.

When this product first came it was damaged but amazon sent a replacement that had not damage at all. The story is amazing (as expected from Rick Remender) and the art is fantastic although as some points it does decrease in quality. If you want to get into marvel comics then this is a great introduction as wolverine, deadpool, archangel and etc are main characters in this book. This book requires no prior knowlege and has great extras. The 90 dollar price tag is a bit steep but its worth it for a reprint of this amazing story.

Grande fase com histórias muito boas. Rotei bastante competente e diversas histórias com arte bastante acima da média. É um volume com toda a série dos X-Men que matam. Muito centrado especialmente no Wolverine e na Psylocke, com algumas tiradas ótimas só Deadpool, que não raro rouba a cena. Um dos melhores Omnibus da minha coleção. Se não o mais significativo, certamente um dos mais divertidos.
