Torch single jet flame lockable lighter

I love these lighters, I have owned both the triple jet of these and also the single jet. All of them have worked tremendously as I’ve ordered the single jet now twice. A feature that I really appreciate on these is that they’re silent compared to traditional click jets. I’ve done so much research on Flint ignition torch lighters and many of flint ignition torches have such a wonky way of releasing fuel before you light and it doesn’t feel good in the hand, others I’ve tried have weird switches that when you flick the flint it’ll shut the butane release off, they can be such hassles. So these are really wonderful because it’s an easy switch that you can do without two hands, or making your hand do weird acrobatic crap it doesn’t need to be doing. It’s an easy on/off swift movement that is very fluid, the switch isn’t in my way or over complicated to turn on or off. The one enormous and extremely notable downside that I found with any flint ignition torch is that when you’ve got this lit and going if you drop it at all it will not stop going, I literally almost burnt my apartment down once. Not even kidding. Now aside from that a couple of other things worth mentioning is that you have to be extremely careful with them, most people don’t know proper maintenance and care for these items and it actually requires quite a bit of care and maintenance. Nobody bleeds their lighters when they refill, nobody allows refilled butane to settle for 10m to stabilize, and most people are not using a high quality butane which is a huge problem because what happens is these things get very clogged up due to excess buildup of lower quality butanes and what they’re mixed with. The reality is that what most people are dealing with when one of these stops working is that there’s either gonna be no butane releasing due to that buildup, or they probably aren’t even switching up the flint that is a necessary requirement for this as well. For me personally I don’t feel as though this takes up as much butane as most people like to complain that it does but I only feel that way because I’ve had the triple jet version of this exact lighter and that was so much worse than this could ever hope to be, so I think people should try to be a little more lax about that because if they only knew how bad the triple one is they would not complain at all. Not to mention that for a single jet torch this flame burns hot when you turn it all the way up it is an intense burn so you’re getting a really good performance! Of course it’s gonna take up quite a bit of fluid even my regular normal click torches take up a good amount of fluid like that when they’re strong and have a powerful jet. Ultimately I give this 100% five stars. I would continue to buy, and I will continue to buy because at this price point that’s tremendous, I don’t think I’ve ever been more happy with a product to be honest it’s absolutely a staple in my life as there’s specific qualities that I really love in this lighter style. None are as lovely in a flint ignition torch, this is the top of the line for anything on a budget. Know lighter maintenance and love your lighter and it won’t let you down. But not performing any of the previously listed maintenance tasks I guarantee your later will die within at least a month, because not adhering to those care steps ultimately is hurting it.

Compared to the other POS lighters I’ve bought from this brand this one isn’t half bad. None of them were to begin with. All felt much higher quality than the price showed. So I bought them all. Within a week I’m down to two different ones. This one being one of them. It’s a little funny at what gas flow it will light and the plastic fuel adjuster is a bad choice. If you’re not careful it will fall apart and deform. But for the price if you keep your expectations within reason. And treat it gently. So far it seems this lighter works fairly well. I would personally look at other brands but for cheap throwaways you don’t really care about or if you get lucky with a good quality one then it’s a great purchase. Just keep your expectations for a ~$10 lighter in check and I would recommend it despite my issues.

I ordered one and it would only go for about 3 seconds, even after much jetting and adjustment, then i ordered another and it was the best lighter i had ever used until i lost it a year later. However, i went to buy this again, and see that it is out of stock and has been for a while now. I am super disappointed with this, and if anyone knows of a lighter like this, a lik would be much appreciated.

I really loved this lighter! The first time it broke I was so sad. I messaged the company and they issued me another one straight away. The second time it broke same thing they sent me another one right away. And then, this third and final time they won’t help me anymore. I appreciate the refund and the replacement, but the fact remains that every time the lighter broke it is the same problem. The Flint always gets stuck in the Flint Holder! There is no possible way to clear any old flint from the flint holder, or even insert a new flint into the flint holder without it, getting stuck and becoming , almost fused in the flint chamber. I tried everything that the company told me to clear the chamber. Used exactly the flint that they recommended and this time I just wanted to see if I could get the chamber cleared so I took my Dremel with a drillbit, and still could not get the Chamber cleared. Do not waste your money on this product! The only option the company gave to me was to “go to the local lighter store…” Yeah right, like I’m going to spend any more money on this inferior product. I hope that helps anyone thinking about purchasing this product to go to other vendors and other products.

The flint torch lighter is neat and it feels nice and heavy in the hand. The fuel tank is very small and smaller than it even appears once you take that cover off. I suppose that can be a negative and also prolonged use since it's all metal everywhere will get real hot and not recommended for super long duration. But it's more of a neat niche lighter so I won't fault it for that. Flint is replaceable.The trick for all torch lighters for refilling is to put them in the freezer for a few minutes and get them cold. Then take it out and fill right away and it should do it in one long shot with the butane. That will get it close to 100% every time and you might squeeze a tiny bit more on a second shot. I wish it had a rubber standard sort of seal for refilling. I have to use an adapter and it doesn't seal super well since it's a plastic adapter pushing down on it. It's okay I guess just not as nice as a lighter that you don't have to use an adapter and can use the can directly onto a rubber seal.
