Pioneer FS52 - Andrew Jones Designed Floor Standing Loudspeaker Audio Bundle (Pair)

Pioneer SP-FS 52 is new updated version of old Pioneer SP-FS52s, with 3 inches extra height, Big speaker magnets with vented pole, according to Andrew Jones. And inside Crossover network circuit also designed with a lot of accuracy. Very clear highs mids and tight, punchy balanced bass.I will soon buy the central, surround and subwoofer of the same Andrew Jones series.At present, I have taken Yamaha RXV 485 AVR for this.The seller has sent a brand new item (SP-FS 52) in very good packing very quickly.These speakers are available at a very good price.It is a pity that the subwoofer SW8MK2 of the same series is not available due to the 110 Volt operating voltage, But don't be disappointed, Elac debut S8 is best substitute, same thing redesigned by Andrew Jones for ELAC.And my guess is that its speaker (SP-FS 52) cones are also made of aramid fiber.speaker cabinet made by curved MDF. Excellent Voice quality. and in my opinion it is better than Sony SS-CS 3.

Wonderful loudspeakers with really good sound. The highs sound very transparent, the mids and vocals sound very smooth and clean and the lows are very tight and well defined. The bass seemed to get deeper after a few weeks of use (not sure if it is burn in or just my ears getting used to these speakers). I have listened to loudspeakers that are much more expensive and this sounds better. The ports are in the back, so you have to place them a little away from the wall.

Great speakers, need some time to break in before getting the best out of them.Mids , highs are excellent and little bit low on bass.Great for home theater set up.Clear vocals.Good speakers for the price.Bought from AV gear for 25000/- pair, delivered intact with good packing....although there was slight delay in delivery from bluedart.

I have sourced a brand new pair of FS-52 from one of my dearest friends (not from amazon), and after using them with my Marantz amp for 18 months or so (mainly for listening to music), I can bet these are the best budget floorstanders available at approx 230-250 dollars. These are designed by Andrew Jones and performs very well with excellent lows, mids and highs, with slightly warmer tones but with full texture and details.They must be paired with high quality, moderately powered amplifier and can perform very well with all genere of music like jazz , classical, rock.I am grateful to Andrew Jones and Pioneer for producing these finely crafted speakers for music enthusiasts.One important note though - as these speakers are bass reflex and ported at the back, they must be placed/ positioned carefully (from back and side wall) in a room to perform well.I think currently, one can not find easily such a perfectly tonally balanced floorstanding speakers (for music) at this pricepoint (apprx 250 dollars).

I like them overall. These are my first tower type speakers. Unfortunately available only in black. Simulated wood grain doesn't help much.Sounded tinny at first but realized I was hearing a much broader range of sound. I'm actually hearing a lot of sounds that I never heard before from music tracks I've listened to for years so impressed with that. The sound from these speakers seems to travel further than my old speakers. Yamaha 7 channel surround system with multiple old bookshelf speakers including Bose. These speakers sound good on 2 channel as well. Haven't heard any distortion yet. Plenty of bass for me. I like heavy metal, punk, electronic, folk etc, and I like it loud. $190 for pair Pioneer SP-FS52

Not much to dislike. Surprising amount of bass, nice wide soundstage, vocals are impressive, stringed instruments are detailed, and the treble is rolled off for nice natural highs. Nothing fatiguing, shrill or shouty. Needs a decent amount of power to really shine (100 to 150 watts rms).These are not meant to be used for a block party, or rave. But for the money they can get loud enough with no distortion. I have no need to play them any louder than 100 decibels. Great for stereo home theater or just for music. I do recommend a subwoofer or two, paired for home theater.

I had these speakers in my cart, making do with small, bookshelf speakers as the front speakers in our movie room. When these went on sale, I bought, and they were shipped QUICK. There was nothing to the hook up and setup and 15 minutes later I was enjoying a richness and fullness to our system that is great! Well worth the dough, nice addition to our system, completely happy.

These speakers are wonderful. I'm a base loving kinda person and this did not disappoint!I got them as replacement floor speakers for my surround sound system. I wanted an updated look that matched my current flow. I have not cranked them to capacity yet but it doesn't take much to get that kick you want. Got commercials even sounding great...lol

Was looking for a modest price speaker for third set up. After hours of research I desided on the pioneers. At this time of my life I could easily afford to spend more. And most times you get what you pay for. Not this time, shocked at the sound for the price. If you only want to spend a few hundred or less, there is no other choice.
