BetadineSkin Cleanser, 4 Ounces, Antiseptic Hand Wash

This antiseptic cleanser is very good for pre and post operative surgical sites.

I was using a natural deodorant (which I loved-only had 3 ingredients) and it wasn't working any more. So I talked to my older brother who is a nurse and asked him what he uses and he said Betadine. I said the stuff they use in the operating room? He told me many years ago he had issues with his deodorant so he talked to a Pharmacist and he recommended Betadine. He's been using it 25+ years and never had a problem. I went online and many Amazon reviewers said they used for that very purpose. So guess what I tried it and it really works! No underarm odor at all! You may still sweat, it's not an antiperspirant but you won't have any odors. A little goes a long way. It's been about three months and still no odor. This doesn't stain your skin, it comes out orange but washes away. I use it in the shower so I don't know if you spilled it on clothes if it would stain. I won't be without it.

I have used this product for over ten years. When I moved I was having difficulty finding it.When I found it on Amazon, I thought FINALLY.I use this for skin cleanser, scrapes and cuts to get rid of any dirt out of my young boys adventures.

Needed it for a burn. Returned for an exchange the next day and haven’t received replacement

This is good stuff. It works wonderfully on boils. I also use it for animal first aid. I can clean up most hotspots or cuts and scrapes and the healing seems to start immediately and I don't have to worry about them licking at medicine. Alittle expensive about has saved us a couple of visit to the vet.

For those out there that struggle with similar underarm issues especially when they exercise, you may want to try using this product to cleanse under the arms. It disinfects and kills bacteria that naturally accumulates under the arms. To most people this is simply manageable with soap and deodorant but to some it can be a challenge to control with typical methods. This product is very effective to control underarm "issues!" It is safe and with regular use there is even no need to use deodorant even when you exercise. At least this has been my experience. Deodorant can contain chemicals that are not very safe to our bodies, so using this skin cleanser is an added benefit if you worry about the use of deodorant.I hope this helps someone out there that may be looking for an effective way to control this "issue" with their underarms. This is EXCELLENT for gently cleaning eyebrows for post Microblading. My friend uses it in the shower to prevent UTI’s. Great for mountain biking boo-boos. I always have some on hand for when needed.

This stuff kills germs naturally- by way of iodine, a natural element and chemical. It kills germs dead, but unlike stuff like triclosan and similar 'antibacterial soaps" the germs can't develop an immunity to it.The primary use for this is wound cleansing, but yes, if you have stinky pits or feet you can use this occasionally (rinse well, it might leave a harmless faint brown stain otherwise) to get rid of body odor causing bacteria.I say "MORE" safe but don't get it in your eyes, keep out of reach of children and pets, etc. Safer for the environment also that some other substances.
