Good sun protection
I saw a video on Dr. Dray channel about the importance of sun hats to protect yourself from the sun light for skin cancer prevention and have decided to get a sun hat, the first sun hat in my life. Decided to get this one since it was affordable and had good rating. Just took it with me for the Rattlesnake Ridge hike and loved it. It covers your face from the sun and has those holes in the top to prevent your head from overheating. Would recommend.

I thought the neck strap was silly——then my first few uses were on a boat...without that strap i would totally have lost it!

A decent, reasonably-priced hat.
A decent, reasonably-priced hat. Maybe not something I’d pack for a month long expedition, but it’s lightweight construction should work just fine while doing yard work. Nice ventilation at top of hat to help keep my head cool.

Great hat.
Very nice and light hat, the brim has a nice natural wave/bend just like on the picture. Took it rafting on a 100 degree heat, it did its job well, no burns, and nice shade.

Floppy hat
The hat arrived warped, as shown in the photo, and there is no easy way to straighten it and make it stay straight. Some people might not mind that style, but if you prefer a hat that doesn't look like a rag, choose something else.

Not waterproof.
Ordered these per the description as being waterproof. There is a mesh band at the top of the hat on the side. After they came in I double checked the description to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, I hadn't. Nice hat if you want a sun . Not if you're in the rain. notified the seller, with no response.
