I was definitely reluctant to buy this due to all of the complaints with creasing from packaging, few reviews that actually showed the product on, and head size sorry (lol) I found using my steamer helped get the creases out entirely. I know an iron on top of a towel and the hat would work too!Now; Hats this size and shape (bigger brim) are so hard to come by at THIS price.I absolutely appreciate the wire band on the ridge. You can style it as you please and I believe that’s such a huge plus. The brim is wide enough to definitely cover my face and shoulders.It comes with a white strap to keep it in place on windy days, I’m assuming. I found wearing it under the chin was very uncomfortable, BUT when I had it tucked in on the back of my head and held in place with my hair, it was very comfortable and stayed put. (Hat on, band behind the ears and below the nape of the neck) I have long hair so I’m not sure how it would work with someone who has a short cut bob or fade on the back of their head. I do feel the hat is meant to be worn this way. (Like how you would put a wig with an elastic band) I’m a size medium in a women’s baseball cap but this was the perfect size.Now the downfalls to this product would be creasing from packaging and some loose threads here and there- it’s the ends of a finished stitching. Personally, I’m going to sew in the loose ends.Overall it’s a GREAT buy at this price. It’s perfect and exactly what I was looking for. It feels of good quality too, just be careful because it is 100% paper so don’t get it soaked.

Very nice hat.

It's good for what it is. The sun protection is good, however, it's not the most comfortable sun hat. Although, I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable. It also comes with a white elastic strap that's supposed to go around your chin which is not advertised in the pictures. I ended up cutting off the strap because it honestly makes it look cheap. Besides that, it's a fine hat. It's good for sunny days or beach days. Overall, I would recommend this hat.

My daughter used this for a cosplay and now she wears it randomly to church or when she is dressing up. Definitely cute.

I bought this product understanding that I could wash a paper hat in the washing machine, and I can, but this hat has wires along the rim which came out and during the wash. I do have a craft tool that I can use to insert them back into the weave. Another thing is that the band around the head is too tight for my head, and the bulb over the head is too high. Otherwise yes, it gives me the sun protection I need for my face. And it looks ok on me.

First time I used the hat it started unraveling. Poor workmanship.

My friend and I have made a pact to get out of our pandemic funk of messy buns and sweat pants and embrace "hot girl summer" and let me tell you, this hat has released my inner garden witch. It's big enough to keep my shoulders from burning while I obsessively garden and try to get some vitamins from the sun after a brutal year of being housebound. As far as I'm concerned, twenty bucks got me a nice floppy hat with a bendable frame and more tomatoes than I know what to do with.

I did not have high expectations for a very inexpensive hat made of paper, but this sure did floor me! The weaving is firm and surprisingly heavy, to where I never would have guessed it was paper. The rim has wire incorporated all the way around and it holds a shape remarkably well. The brim is HUGE -- dramatic and lovely. For the $12 I paid, I couldn't be happier. I will note that the hat is creased from how it was packed in shipping, but that doesn't bother me. For this price, it's hard to complain. I would have bought a more expensive hat if I was looking for something flawless.
