Rock in Spanish at its Best
An incredibly energetic band, Bersuit is a group that anyone with a remote interest in alternative forms of rock in Spanish should check out. They don't sound like anyone else, and don't reflect that sort of generic, out-of-date sound that I personally think many latin rock bands possess; to the gringo ear at least. Besides their bizarre and energetic sound, Bersuit is very politically charged. All of this energy is captured in the live shows presented on this CD. Check it out.

We were on a trip throu south America down from Venezuela ,Brasil,Chile, Bolivia ,Chile and enter Argentinia viaBariloge and went to a misik store and told the guy to show ussome real argentinia rock musik . Within the first sound we know, that we found somthing great . "Bersuit Vergarabat" - in Deutschland nahezu unbekannt. Warum eigentlich?!
Bin mehr oder weniger durch Zufall auf diese Band gestoßen (Online-Recherche nach spanischsprachiger Musik/Bands im Stil von Manu Chao/Ska-P etc). Dank dem entsprechendem "lastfm"-Suchvorschlag hab ich nun eine Lieblingsband mehr.Dieses Live-Album ist quasi ein Best-Of, enthält viele bekannte, gute Songs und Fan-Lieblinge vieler Alben bis zur Veröffentlichung dieser Live-CD 2002.Die Song-Auswahl gibt einen guten Überblick über die Vielfaltigkeit der Band:laute, druckvolle energiegeladene Rocksongs (Sr. Cobranza, Tuyo, La Bolse, Se Viene), aber auch ruhigere, emotionale Stücke (Caramelo, Un pacto, Vuelos). Das letzte Lied enthält - quasi als "Hidden Track" - eine Live(Soundcheck?-)Version von "Diez Mil".Insgesamt 16 Songs (+ Intro), 72 Minuten.Die Live-Versionen hier gefallen mir idR noch besser als die Original Album-Versionen (bsp. "Yo Tomo"); Grund: die Live-Versionen sind noch druckvoller. Zudem ist auch die Zuschauer-Atmosphäre gut eingefangen: die Fans singen lautstark mit, was das Konzerterlebnis gut transportiert bzw. unterstützt. Positiv dabei: die Fans sind dennoch nicht störend/zu sehr in den Vordergrund gemischt, die Musik bleibt dominant.Klare Kaufempfehlung.Durch dieses Album habe ich mich detaillierter mit der Band und weiteren Alben auseinandergesetzt. Einsteigern empfehle ich dieses Live-Album, weil es quasi als Best Of durchgeht.

Klasse CD!
Habe die Cd bei der Arbeit zufällig kennen gelernt. Hat mich gleich total begeistert. Sehr energiegeladen und schwungvoll! War begeistert, dass ich sie dann tatsächlich gebraucht gefunden habe und sie schon 2,3 Tage später in meinem Briefkasten lag.
