These nails are cute but a bit long for my taste. Also I prepped my nails exactly as suggested and the darn things fell off after a few hours. If you need a quick fix for a night out these will work but for every day use not good enough.

I applied these on a Tuesday and now at Friday they're still holding strong. They have a pretty impressive (no pun intended) adhesive on them, which makes them stay put very well. This adhesive is also the cause for my minor complaint because it sticks out past the end of my natural nails so every time I run my fingers through my hair it grabs a strand and pulls it out. The adhesive also picks up debris here and there, so they're difficult to keep clean. All in all, if they could shorten the length of the adhesive on the nail, they'd be top notch! They are perfectly polished a deep burgundy red and do not look like press on nails at all.

So I did not get these nails from amazon but from walmart for $6. It came with I'd guesstimate 20+ nails. I love them (so far).. I applied them on sunday (5/14/2012) afternoon and they haven't come off since. I have washed my hands, prepared food, and anything else that could possibly allow these things to pop off.. but, so far, I am convinced. I like the idea that the nails are a soft plastic and not a hard plastic. I hypothesized that the soft plastic merges to your finger nails so there is no tension for them to pop off like hard plastic nails. But, I like them. of course I wouldn't recommend boxing, or doing anything extreme with them, but overall I'd recommend anyone to try them. Oh, and before you consider, have patience, they can be a bit of a hassle to put on.
