Hey it is Francis de Sales and he has been there and done that. His writing has a clarity that rings true even after translation. All of the books he has written feel as though he has been following me around and knows exactly what I think and what I have been through. I think he knows it vey well. Comforting and enlightening. Highly recommended!

St Francis cannot be beat as the personal spiritual guide through the trials of life. He uses analogy that we can relate to, giving us advice that we can understand. His method is realistic but gentle.

If you know and love De Sales, this will knock off your socks. I've really much by this gentle Saint and this is one of my absolute faves. St Francis de Sales, pray for us!

A wonderful book for meditation for a wearied mind! St. Frances de Sales writes in a way that helps you examine your heart and guides you to a much deeper relationship with God. A must for your library!

Haven't finished the book yet but it is full of wonderful insights about our Catholic Faith. Very rich and inspiring!
