We love this product! The taste is amazing, clean and just like eating a whole nut. My son has many, many food allergies, Celiac Disease and mitochondrial disease. He is severely underweight and his dr suggested adding macademia nut oil as a healthy fat to support weight gain and maintaining a ketogenic state. He takes 1-2 Tbsp of this/day and does it with no complaints ~ that's huge when dealing with a 5 year old that doesn't understand why he needs to take it!

I use this for cooking everything, it doesn’t have an extremely high smoke point but it’s high enough that I can take my pan on and off the heat and cook everything. I originally got this because I was trying to find an oil that was healthy but not olive oil, which for some reason I cannot digest and gives me severe gi issues, and this fit the bill! I thought about this oil because I eat a lot of macadamia nuts which are obviously extremely high in oil and very healthy, so I gave it shot and I’m so glad I did! It tastes great and doesn’t upset my stomach, and I’d definitely highly recommend!

Fabulous for skin, hair, nails, and cooking. Doesn’t have a funny taste and is super healthy for you. Definitely look up the benefits of you have free time. The company is also very involved in customer satisfaction. Highly recommend.

In like cooking and baking with this oil. I love the mild flavor. I don’t use vegetable oils and it’s great to have this as a baking oil option and a high heat cooking oil. Nice that it is in a can. Another brand I bought was in a plastic bottle and the oil was rancid. This one is not and tastes great used for any cooking. Wish it was a bigger container and not so expensive. I was shocked at how small this container was. Didn’t look carefully enough at the volume.

"We don't cook with it- we use it as a flavor enhancer/ stimulator on a variety of dishes. Great on cold stuff like hummus instead of olive oil, and drizzled on other cold salads- bean salads; uncooked, seasoned asparagus or cauliflower; tomato with onion/scallion and avocado, etc. It seems wasted as an ingredient in salad dressing with vinegar because vinegar overpowers its delicate taste. Also great drizzled on cooked seasoned vegetables, like asparagus usually already saute'ed with olive oil and/or butter, baked or roasted seasoned veggies like sliced or leafed brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrots. Also great on boiled new (red) potatoes which have been sliced into quarters, salt and peppered, parsley flakes or fresh, a little butter, and drizzled. It's a bit pricey for the volume, and a bit more flavorful than other Australian macadamia oils we have gotten there, but definitely has a place in our kitchen. It has a flavor its own, as opposed to being tasteless but good at bringing out the flavor of the basic ingredients, like other Australians, so slightly different uses."

This oil has zero flavor. I have been ordering Macadamia Nut Oil from Vital choice for years and it has benn flavorful and simply delicious. Vital Choice no longer carries this oil so based on the packaging and description I decided to try Lucius Macadamia Oil.. It is absolutely awful!! No flavor what so ever! It does not even deserve 1 star!!

O! how I LOVE the flavor of this oil! I use it to sautee veggies, thanks to its high smoke point. I also make my own version of a bulletproof coffee, using this and macadamia nut milk. YUM! I keep coming up with different ways to enjoy it and have used it regularly since my first taste! I really like the petite tin. It fits my hand well. The nozzle is cleverly hidden until you pull it up and the cap for the nozzle is threaded so it stays put. I will definitely be ordering more Lucius!
