20-pin Headunit/Radio Wiring Harness with Steering Wheel Switch Wires Compatible with Subaru/2007-2019 Nissan | Upgraded Version of The 70-7552 | Harness Includes VSS and SWC pins

All wires were easy to read and matched right up with the wires from the new head unit. Steering wheel controls even worked without the extra module !! Just had to tell the head unit which buttons on the wheel do what & it works flawlessly !

Fits perfect and I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that the wires have labels printed on them(even if they are hard to see). This harness makes installing a SWC interface a breeze.

The harness fits perfectly however the pink wire labeled VSS and the blue wire below are in the wrong place. You can see in the picture of the wiring from my 2015 Frontier. The 2 pins next to the yellow wire on the far right end are empty. But they are taken up by the pink VSS wire and the unlabeled blue wire. See that in the picture of this adapter. Now I have to find a tool that allows me to move the wires. Also, not all wires are labeled and the colors are not according to OEM spec. Fortunately I have the harness wiring diagram for my truck. I will just go by that and label every wire myself. Almost, almost perfect.

Worked great. Had to look at the amazon description to make sure I had the wires right for the ones that were not individually wired.

This is the harness you want. I used it in a 2008 Subaru Impreza and it had all of the extra stuff needed for steering wheel controls and the antenna amp.

I bought this wire harness once and saved it to my buy later. The first one I received worked get everything fit and then I bought a new stereo so I decided to buy a new harness well this one which was supposed to be the exact as the one I ordered before did not work and I even checked the product details before writing this review and what I received and what it says I bought were 2 different products!

Super easy connecting new head unit, including steering wheel controls. The head unit I was installing can program the steering wheel controls so a separate SWC controller was not necessary.

Would be better if it kept the same colors as the Metra so you could follow install guides instead of guessing and hoping for the best

Exactly what it says in the description. An upgraded version of the Metra 70-7552 which Metra only lists for Nissan, but it's used by many Subaru models without Nav (the Metra harness for Subaru is with Nav). It includes all the extra wires for steering wheel controls and speed sensors that the Metra harness is missing.

All the people complaining about this product... First, you shouldn't need instructions. Each wire is labelled ON each wire describing what it does. Second, there will be wires you may not be using. For example if you don't have a power antenna, or forget to get your steering wheel control interface box. Second, the wires are colour coded, they typically match a standard aftermarket radio harness. Connect the blue wire with the black stripe to the radio harness wire that is blue with a black stripe. If you are still unsure, you can search Metra for the schematic. Works fine. And thirdly, this is for multiple vehicles from two different manufacturers, is not specific to you car. There will be a few wires you're not going to use.

Works fine with basic power and speaker leads. Illumination, steering wheel control may or may not be supported, not on my base Nissan 370z install- created extra wire clutter. Colour coding was ok.
