Good but not great
I have probably gone through 10 cans of the Met Rx pancakes and when I saw these advertised I think on twitter I figured I would try them. The met rx ones taste way better but then again metrx has some garbage in there such as soy leicten and corn starch. Mancakes is soy and gluten free.If price were equal I would order the mancakes again over metrx but 13.87 vs 19.99 forces me to order the met rx pancakes

Nice product
Bought these for my husband. He lifts weights and usually drinks protein powder shakes. Got these for a change of pace. He really liked them-- he did add a touch of brown sugar to improve the flavor and they are more dense than traditional pancakes but he liked them.

Fantastic pancake mix! Read on...
I first ordered "Mancakes" looking for a healthy pancake that was easier to make than homemade, as I'm a bit picky about what I eat. I made pancakes twice with Mancake mix and immediately ordered two more bags. They may be healthy, but they're also delicious! As simple as one-to-one ratio of mix to liquid (I use skim milk), but I also mix it up and have several recipies now. Try adding fresh blueberries and lemon zest. Have an over-ripe banana? Mush it up into a liquid and add it with milk to Mancakes for awesome banana pancakes. I'll mix in slivered almonds and top with sliced apples, and on all of these I'll top with some real maple syrup. Sometimes when I head out for a 5-6 hour bike ride and make Mancakes the night before and then make a big peanut butter and jelly sandwich with them to take along. It's a great way to stay fueled on a long excursion. My wife usually likes plain old-fashioned buttermilk pancakes and often is not interested in eating my healthy concoctions, but she really likes these too! I give this product my highest recommendation for content, flavor and convenience.

Mancakes every day of the week
I have made my own versions of protein pancakes, but Mancakes have it down. Could you make your own protein pancakes for cheaper? maybe, but this is simple and easy for busy people, and travels great if you need it to. Great macronutrient profile, easy to make into a waffle or pancake, and the combinations of things you can add with these is limited only to your imagination. As some have mentioned, the flavor of the raw batter is not exactly appetizing, but once cooked it tastes no different than a regular pancake or waffle. I tend to have these everyday just for the fiber and protein content, and I don't drink protein shakes anymore. Both flavors are great, and they are coming out with a chocolate version in September. Great company and customer service, highly recommend.

These are now a staple in my home!
I got these Cinnamon Oat Mancakes for my husband, and absolutely LOVES them. He loves the taste, loves how satisfying they are, and loves the results he is seeing in his body. They are so nutritious and so easy to prepare compared to the previous protein pancakes we made - the other recipe had at least 6 ingredients in addition to the protein powder - milk, eggs, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, vanilla. Additionally, I have to say the customer service I experienced was OUTSTANDING!!!! When I ordered through Amazon, the bags Amazon sent were within a month of the "BEST BY" date. Mancakes replaced the bags I purchased with fresher ones and gave me free samples of some of their other pancake mix flavors and their syrups.

I hated the taste
I hated the taste , it was way too grainy, i felt like i was eating pancake/waffles just made of oats . Plus i looked at all the ingredients , if you do it right it will cost you $10 to $12 to make this at home instead of what they are charging , which is twice the price. I suggest trying Kodiak protein pancakes which is $5 to $6 depend on where you buy, with 14g of protein , it tastes way better and if want more protein just add a scoop of your favorite whey protein.

Just add water (and maybe some butter)
While I enjoyed fluffy white pancakes as a child, I haven't had them in years since I can't get past bleached flour. So I must admit I haven't tried MetRx pancakes, but these Mancake pancakes are just up my alley. My wife and I made six pancakes the first morning and before cooking them we tried the batter raw (it was slightly bitter), but the bitterness completely disappeared and a smooth flavor emerged. The texture is a little coarser than whole grain pancakes, so this might not be for you if you are expecting "bisquick" pancakes, but I don't think I've had bisquick in the past two decades. To be honest, we preferred our pancakes with just a slab of ghee instead of maple syrup since the sweetness of the pancakes seemed sufficient (we're not that into sweets). Hope this helps!
