Not the multicolors I was expecting but that's to be expected in a "rag" runner I'm still very happy with it. The price was reasonable, it's made nicely and not cheap looking.

Love the colors. I just love blue anyway. It has a "denim" type look. Using as a table runner on my coffee table in family room. Looks very nice.

This table runner is thick and very well made. It looks exactly like the picture. Goes great with my eclectic kitchen!

I was hoping for the colors to be more vibrant like the picture. The one I received has more duller colors.

I thought I was going to get a bright colored runner with reds in it. No red at all. It is very drab with blue grays and tan. Was very disappointed. It is made very well. The color is nothing like the picture!

I've been issued a refund, but if you are ordering this, expect a drab blue, brown & white mess! It's also 15", not 14. It's the thickness of a rag rug, and I wouldn't even put it on the floor! BEYOND UGLY!

I purchased 4 beige table runners for an event. They had a good weight & feel to them & a nice rustic look. But the smell.... formaldehyde. I washed them 3 times on gentle cycle in the washing machine, still smelled. Hung them outside on the patio for 4 days. Still smelled. Soaked them for over 8 hours in the bathtub with a LOT of baking soda & the water went entirely brown. The smell from the hot water steam was awful, made me cough & cough & cough. Rinsed & rinsed & rinced to remove the weird brown color water (much darker than the color of the actual material) & soaked again in vinegar. Hanging outside yet again & seems they are now actually usable.

This runner would be perfect for what I wanted it for, if it were not for the horrible chemical smell that other reviewers have remarked on. The fabric is thick 100% cotton, the weave gives it the rustic feel and interest I was after - but the SMELL! I think it might me naphthalene, i.e. the substance traditionally used in mothballs.Since I really don't want to have naphthalene off-gas into my living room, I washed it in my washing machine (although the label says not to wash, but with 30C on delicates setting it was OK, didn't shrink at all). Unfortunately, it still smelled strongly after drying. I had had a similar issue with an item of clothing a few years ago and at the time researched what to do about it. The best way to get rid of the naphthalene in a fabric seems to be exposure to sunlight.So I hung the runner on my garden fence repeatedly a few days in a row, although there hasn't been much sun around. It did really help, but the smell is still not completely gone. Now waiting for more sunny days.

The colour is different but it's still a nice piece. I'm using it to cover some old scratched furniture so it works just fine. It's well made and has a good weight to it. I like it and def recommend it. It serves it's purpose well.
