The classic Rickenbacker bass - famous for its long sustain, its punch rich in overtones and the solid bass foundation, which is due to the continuous neck construction. The model 4003S is based on the 4001S Bass and has become known through icons such as Paul McCartney and Chris Squire. In contrast to the 4003 model, it comes without body and fingerboard binding and softer body contours as well as with dot inlays in the fingerboard. In addition, the 4003S comes with the regular Rickenbacker circuit with mono output.
